Just watched episode 5. It really is a disturbing watch - the relationship between the two main characters is completely f***ed.Covered End said:

Best programme on TV if you’re not faint hearted. Gripping.
Interesting to see how the last part resolves things.1 -
Enjoyed the most recent series of Race across the World. All the competitors were likeable and we ended up with very worthy winners. Won’t say who in case people haven’t caught up with the result yet.11

The only thing was, did the in-laws get it on?Chaz Hill said:Enjoyed the most recent series of Race across the World. All the competitors were likeable and we ended up with very worthy winners. Won’t say who in case people haven’t caught up with the result yet.3 -
Binge watching Two Weeks In August at the moment. It’s ok but hoping it’ll get better as it goes along.

Loved this series of RATW due to a great selection of couples, and made up for the pair that won.
Agree though, the route wasn’t such a good watch this series, particularly the 2nd half.

Agree about the 2nd half of the route, but loved the way the people were so friendly, hospitable and helpful.AFKABartram said:Loved this series of RATW due to a great selection of couples, and made up for the pair that won.

Finished the final season of The Boys.
The weakest of the 5 seasons which was no real surprise as there was nowhere really to go plot wise. Great cast but poor script0 -
Good series - the route was a nice change from some variation on the far east, and I felt they dialled back the sob stories.Chaz Hill said:Enjoyed the most recent series of Race across the World. Helped that all the couples were pretty likeable too.2 -

Anyone watched Dear England on iplayer yet?0

I saw it as a play at the national, it was very good, I wondered how (or if it could) it would translate to the small screen. Just watched episode one which I thought was very good and honoured the original play very well.North Lower Neil said:Anyone watched Dear England on iplayer yet?2 -
Loved RATW, brilliant stuff.
Just started The Boroughs on Netflix. Two episodes in and I likey.1 -
If you like 70's music then Ponies on Sky is a good watch. Spy stuff which shouldn't work but actually does. Emilia Clarke from GOT is very good.0

Really enjoyed RATW. Usually there is at least one couple you don’t like but they were all likeable this time round. Pleased for the team that won, thought they deserved it. Thought it was interesting some of the home stays, not only did they show the contestants such hospitality I was surprised at the quality of the homes in countries where I wouldn’t have expected it but maybe that says more of my ignorance than anything else.4

Saw the first episode earlier & thought it quite good. Not sure about all the army training bollox but thought the players reciting their "number" before the penalty shoot-out was good. Not sure if that was true or not though.North Lower Neil said:Anyone watched Dear England on iplayer yet?0 -
We binged all 8 episodes in 2 nights !KBslittlesis said:Loved RATW, brilliant stuff.

REALLY loved it !
Different, not scary but some suspenseful moments with very good characters portrayed by good actors.
Probably not everyone's cuppa but easy watching & held our attention .
Well done the Duffers !1 -
Two down on The Boroughs and enjoying it.3

Watched the first episode just now. Really enjoyed it. Joseph Fiennes as Southgate, that is a performance. They portray Greg Clarke and Greg Dyke at the FA as a right pair of dickheads, which I enjoyed too. It was a bit heavy on the emotional drama , but if you're a footie fan I don't know how you can resist buying into it.North Lower Neil said:Anyone watched Dear England on iplayer yet?0 -
Watched the first episode too now - agree it's decent.
Very surface level etc when I think Southgate, Dan Ashworth and others actually went into a lot of depth with a lot of the environment about rhe team, but appreciate it was squeezed into an hour so had to be!
The guys playing Pickford and Maguire are good lookalikes!0
