    Anyone still watching ‘From’?

5 episodes into the new series and still absolutely none the wiser about what or why anything is happening.

It’s actually beginning to piss me off.
Same as that. Yellow suit man is a cracking character though.

It’s going to turn into Lost I tell ya.
We aren’t going to find out what is happening in this series either.

The writer confirmed in an interview that it concludes at the end of season 6

Liked seeing Greenwich Park featured in episode two of Dear England.
I there another episode? I thought E2 was it.
3 and 4 released on IPlayer yesterday.
    Ah. Thanks.

Finished it last night - really well done even though you know what's coming. I thought Joseph Fiennes did a very good job but he was a bit too twitchy, which is not something I ever noticed about GS.
I also watched the BBC1 documentary Footballs New Generation last night, which focused on the players at Euro2024 more than the manager, but felt like a follow on. Quite impressed with some of them.

Watched all four of Dear England - thought the first one was the best episode, where it was the positive side of Southgate's reign - the other three were a little heavier and also I thought suffered from the fact that the positive bits (goals, celebrating after the wins etc) were the actual footage, so then all you got to see Joseph Fiennes do was look worried a lot.

I might be remembering it wrongly but while I think Southgate was a bit serious in interviews etc I don't remember him being that serious and never smiling etc.

    Enjoyed it overall though.

I’ve seen two episodes, I’ve enjoyed it but I’ve not been sure how they are portraying Southgate and I think some of the artistic license dramatisation has been taken too far. Will continue with the last two though

Harry Kane comes out very well from it, and I wondered how much of that I can really believe, so I asked my friend Kat Law of Spurs Trust and she answered:

"I’ve never ever heard a bad word about Harry, either as a professional footballer or as a man. He’s an absolute credit.  He leads by example, not just words. And I think he’s a genuine role model. Never been involved in any scandal. Always behaved maturely and respectfully. And has good values.
    I miss him! "

Would be nice to believe that chat between Southgate and Tuchel comes from something the real GS told the producers, too...

3 episodes in to The Chestnut Man on Netflix. Dark and creepy so far, but well worth watching.

I’d not heard of it before, season 1 released in 2021 with season 2 coming out last month.

Just watched The Witness on Netflix about the Rachel Nickell case.
Thought it was really well done.

Belatedly ( only 11 years since it was made ) we caught up with " Cuffs" over the last 2 nights.

Absolutely loved it - all 8 episodes.

Great characters, great actors and so wish they hadn't cancelled the 2nd series.

Anyone watching the current series of Welcome To Wrexham?

As much as I dislike Wrexham in general, the parts where they actually focus on the team are pretty interesting,  but there's so many human interest stories shoehorned in makes huge chunks of episodes pretty rubbish
