    Just finished it. I thought the first episode was a bit blah, but after that, I thought it was excellent.

    Several years old show, but just watched the 5 seasons of Money Heist on Netflix over past month or so. Right up there as one of best tv shows ever watched.

    It’s my number 1.

    Yes it has flaws but I don’t care. It’s my favourite tv show ever.

    House of the Dragon still going strongly with the new Season
    Saw the first Episode of Silo's new season as well the other day, with that out on Fridays and was really enjoyable

    What do people think of Star City?
    It’s a spin off of ‘For All Mankind’ which is a bit cheesy and very silly in places but entertaining enough, but I feel like Star City is a bit darker. It has a few story strands that aren’t as good as others, but I’m quite enjoying it. 
    Rhys Ifans is very good in it and Anna Maxwell-Martin is incredible as a horrible, manipulative, ruthless, heartless bitch.

    Well worth a watch if you are a fan.

    Outrageous .. Mitford Family drama/comedy
    Rewatching 'Six Feet Under' .. I'd forgotten  how innovative & entertaining it was/is
    Couple of Aussie cops drama serials on BBC .. Jesus, the outback is seriously dry n dusty, then suddenly, a river

    Loved Widows Bay. It's such an original show and you never know what you're going to get. 

    Dutton Ranch is dreadful and yet I'm still watching it. 

    Also been watching the This Is England '86, '88 and '90. I watched the film but never caught the series. Quite dark at times but brilliant tv.

    Just to come back to this, I’ve just finished the first season. 
    In my opinion it’s far superior to “For All Mankind”, mainly because it’s a different type of show - more of a tense drama with psychological elements and the heavy shadow of an oppressive state, whereas FAM is a sort of silly, cheesy soap opera. You do have to remember that this is a show aimed at western audiences but set in the old USSR, Soviet authoritarianism is portrayed how you might expect, and of course there are occasional “yeah, right” moments where you need to suspend your disbelief, but overall it’s done pretty well.

    You don’t even need to see FAM to understand it either - there are a couple of nods to the FAM storyline, there’s at least one character who appears in FAM at some point, and both series are based on the alternative history of the USSR getting a man on the moon first and the effect this has on the history of space travel (and history in general). But despite that, it’s pretty much a stand alone show.
    I’d recommend it.

    I was really enjoying this. I took the dog for a late walk between eps 5 & 6 and said to Mrs Idle that they've got a lot to cram into the final part, but what a cop out at the end. I'll say no more.

    Just finished Widows Bay. Thought the ending was v predictable. Generally a decent watch but had some very odd moments.

    Enjoying Ann Droid - gentle perceptive humour while being a little chilling at times in terms of what just may lie ahead in the future.

    French wartime sci-fi drama set in WW1 about a troop of super soldiers. A mix of Marvel and Peaky Blinders.

    An interesting watch.(subtitles)

    It’s good but tbh, I’ve not really learned anything I didn’t already know. Was talking about it in Arnhem over the weekend and I believe that whilst it’s good, it just shows how brilliant The World at War series really was.

    There was plenty of triggering material in that one, especially for the recently bereaved and those with the prospect of dementia and age related decrepitude.  I reckon that was to filter out the audience and drop the professionally offended.  Listened to an interview with the great Sue Johnstone and she likened working with Diane Morgan to her time with Caroline Aherne and there can be no higher praise.  Ep1's darker moments set up the rest of the series for plenty of DM's dry dry and very close to home humour, seasoned with silliness.  Good to see a number of DM's colleagues from previous sitcoms too. 
    When Charlie Brooker cast DM as Philomena Cunk, he loosed a comedy monster into the mainstream.

    That shameless grifter couldn't get close enough to the Russia/Ukraine frontline.  Putin's venal illegal campaign might just have one positive outcome...
    It's the only Alexander DePfeffel coverage I'll ever watch.

    We enjoyed The Sentinels & I believe a 2nd series in in the making.

    Watched the first episode of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe on HBO earlier.

    Latest from the Big Bang Theory creators.

    Based around Stuart from the comic book store living in a post apocalyptic world and finding out there is a way for him to prevent the disaster.

    Stuart, Raj, Bert, Denise and Kripke from Big Bang Theory have featured so far.

    Hi-light being Kripke as some mad dictator ruling the apocalyptic townscape from the ruined Cal-Tech building. Promising start if you liked Big Bang Theory.
