Not a TV series....has anyone watched the Boris Johnson documentary where he visits the frontline in Ukraine?
That shameless grifter couldn't get close enough to the Russia/Ukraine frontline.  Putin's venal illegal campaign might just have one positive outcome...
It's the only Alexander DePfeffel coverage I'll ever watch.
I think he got within 25-30 miles.....definitely in the locally named 'Kill Zone'.

Another good episode of house of dragons been the best season for me so far, no messing about lots of action scenes.

Have found the last two Episodes a bit slower compared to others this season, especially as the opening scenes this week made it looked like we were set for a banger, before it settled back into its usual rhythm - Am expecting all these moving pieces to combine into a decent finale though

That’s the only thing which has let the series down as a whole sometimes to much talking, unlike GOT was all action. Probably down to the fact GOT had multiple storylines going at once whereas house of dragons hasn’t.

I think the biggest disappointed is how slow the Larys storyline is (cut that down in explanation to avoid Spoilers)
Is probably my favourite of the lot, but they're barely touching upon it, just little scenes here and there, where you expect something to happen

If you’re a will ferrall fan give his new series Hawk on Netflix a try, it’s hilarious.

Cape Fear (Apple) - Watch this if you want to see some great actors acting like this isn’t the worst written piece of crap they’ve ever been in.
Every character is so stupid it’s unreal.

Enjoyed Van der Valk tonight, new series started on ITV.
  • The Rapture(BBC) - climate change / murder mystery etc....

It's utterly dreadful with a ludicrous script and some terrible acting.

I loved the second series of The Agency on Paramount Plus. It is about the CIA based in London.

It is essentially a remake of The Bureau, a French Series but very well done with a decent cast including Gere and Fassbender.

    Furious on Disney plus.

Received glowing reviews, so gave the first 3 episodes a go. Hated it.

    I love it

    I'm obsessed with their codenames

    Martian, popeye, Gremlin, Rosko etc

Its very well set up with all pieces on the board for a third series

3rd series of Lioness has just started as well

Another Taylor Sheridan job and I unashamedly love his stuff from Wind River (dark, dark film but one of the best shoot outs I've seen on screen, not that I've seen any shootouts other than on a screen!) to Sicario, Yellowstone, Tulsa King, 1923, 1883, Marshalls, The Madison, Dutton Ranch and Landman. 1923 was a bit of a swing and a miss in the end but I can forgive that

Someone described his format as TV for men and it might be, I'm a man and its definitely for me but my missus loves Lioness which is convenient. Has something for everyone

I've liked most of his shows. 1883 and Landman  (his wife's ringtone screen never fails to make me smile) being the standouts of the ones I've seen.

I watched that Netflix series last night about the murders at the University of Idaho. Very compelling watching given the nature of the crime. I was surprised I wasn't aware of the case.

Done the same. Watched 2 last night and one this morning. Pretty chilling stuff.

Well there were 5 series of The Bureau, so pretty sure the Yanks will copy them.

Enjoyed 1&2 of the Lioness,  so will move to series 3 shortly...

  • The Semtinels(Iplayer)

French wartime sci-fi drama set in WW1 about a troop of super soldiers. A mix of Marvel and Peaky Blinders.

    An interesting watch.(subtitles)
We enjoyed The Sentinels & I believe a 2nd series in in the making.
Watched the final part last night - certainly warrants another series.

Does it liven up then? I binned it off half way through the first series - far too slow for me.

Feel like House of the Dragon has been pretty dull for S2 and S3.  S1 I thought was very good.

Keep sticking with it as there's stuff I'm looking forward to seeing.

Yes, I agree the first season was painfully slow at times but its one of those you shouldn't watch tired or binge as I ended up going back over some episodes where I lost concentration. It does really liven up, second series is faster paced

Same, I think they have got the pacing all over the place. I am enjoying it as its much more like early game of thrones. I found the book quite hard going as it felt more like a compendium rather than a story like the fire and ice books were/are. The casting of Emma D'Arcy is inspired same for Matt Smith those two do a lot of heavy lifting. James Norton I am enjoying as Ormund in the same way I liked Iwen Rheon as Ramsay and Rhys Ifans as Otto, absolute bastardry.

The series is taking a few liberties which are fine and within their rights to do. I thought it could have all been wrapped up in this season with the right pacing but that would probably have cost a lot of money and I think they might have learned their lesson from the last season of Game of thrones and sprinting to the finish line

I knew it was going to be shit from the previews, but my god Alley Cats is bad. Genuinely had to turn it off after 10 minutes it was that bad.

I can’t believe this man co created two of the best comedies ever created in the office and extras.

I’ve watched 4 episodes of Ann Droid and I have to say I can’t stand the scenes with the son and step daughter.
They’re so bad I’m not sure I care how it ends tbh.
