Two boundaries for Forrester mean we still get 11 off the over. Early signs of a good signing

Crawley dropped by Alsop, who was previously out first ball for Sussex, with the ball hitting the boundary rope for 6!

On a better note, they took down Briggs there. More runs conceded in his final over than the previous three combined

My word, early days  i know but what an addition forrester is looking like. Fair plays to billings for sorting that one out

Think he is looking an excellent signing with bat and ball

If that’s out then it’s a stunning grab

Given not out much to Sussex’s chagrin

3 runs needed off 2 overs. Whisper it but I think we might be winning this!

Hopefully the sly digs on the Facebook forum now stop regarding Zak Crawley, fantastic to see this

Kent win by 7 wickets with 10 balls to spare

Crawley 75* (41) and Forrester 35* (18) were both superb

We are looking, as I hoped we would,  a decent T20 unit. Forrester is clearly a masterful signing but we shouldn't underestimate the recruitment of Lintott - 8 overs in the 2 games and going at barely more than a run a ball is a great effort.

The one thing hopefully the bowlers will learn is that they have to find their length sooner than they did. The fact is, though, that we did turn it around and that bodes well.

Two wins from two. Say no more.

Where is Grant Stewart though? This format is one he seems to excel in and his batting is certainly going to be needed

He's been injured. Did play in a 2s T20 game last week but, according to Kent, they are managing his injury.

Ultimately, he might get into the side but not as a front line wicket taker which means that he may only do so when we don't need that third spinner in addition to Lintott and Denly.

Did he not open last year ? Klassen certainly hasn’t  started well in his first two games

LOVING the T20s thus far !

Well done to our "senior " batters doing what they're meant to do - take a bow Zak & Bilbo.

But what a player is young Dian !

SO hoping the lads can maintain this form on Friday when the Fanackapans come to town  <3

Last year Stewart took 7 wickets at 35.00 with an E/R of 9.07. Klaassen took 15 wickets at 25.46 and an E/R of 7.95. Klaassen offers that left arm option whereas Stewart can finish an inning off for us but he actually failed to do so last season - just 32 runs in 6 innings at an average of 6.40 and a strike rate of barely a run a ball. Although I've said that Stewart could come in for Foreman, he might replace Rogers but, for that matter, so might Dudgeon. Once he is fit we will have even more options available to us.
