Tonight's live stream below. Not sure I'll be able to convince them to put it on in my local Cambridgeshire pub sadly

Essex does border Cambridge so there must be loads of fans of the Blast who support Essex as their first class county. Just don't tell them you support Kent!!!fenaddick said:Tonight's live stream below. Not sure I'll be able to convince them to put it on in my local Cambridgeshire pub sadly

If it's anything like the group I go to Chelmsford with for the Kent T20 game it'll depend on how old the people are, when they started watching cricket and who their favourite players were.Addick Addict said:

Bearing in mind we're all Norfolk-based there are a number of us who support Kent but there are others with no family ties to Kent who support the likes of Somerset (late 70s with Botham, Richards and Garner) and Lancashire (Clive Lloyd amongst others).
You can't just assume that Minor Counties will support the closest First Class county!1 -
Essex won the toss and have elected to bowl
Parkinson in for Foreman which does give us a bit of a tail1 -
Amazing how different pitches on the same ground play.
Kent 28~3 off 5.1 -
Rather a disappointing start at 27-3 (5). Muyeye, Crawley and Billings all back in the hutch with all three dismissals somewhat self-inflicted.0
-
Another poor shot sees DBD going too
30-4 (5.4)1 -
DBD playing a "flat footed slog".
30~4 off 5.41 -
37~4 off 7.1
-
Denly hits Mulder for a six and is then bowled for 14 (19). As suggested before the match, Lintott coming in at 7 does leave us a little exposed in this situation
46-5 (8.4)1 -

Forrester caught for 34 (34)
102-7 (17.1)1 -
Rogers out for 7 (10)
110-8 (18.3)1 -
Klaassen out for 8 (4)

129-9 (20)
Had we managed 160 on this deck, that might have been defendable but we will do very well to do so now
Milnes 15* (7)
Parkinson 1* (1)1 -
Massively pathetic……one has to say.0
-
Will take a miracle to win this. I fear it won’t happen0

34-0 (4)1

Stunning effort from our 'senior batsmen'. Absolute car crash at home against a team that were 0-2 and therefore under serious pressure. Braindead batting. Stick a reasonable score up and put them under pressure???0
-
A bumper crowd on a beautiful evening full of optimism and anticipation…..silenced in an instant.
Shameful.0 -
Brought a first timer with me to Canterbury this evening, on this showing I don't think he's going to be hooked1
-
Muyeye and Billings go for a skier with the former injuring himself in the process of attempting to take the catch. He leaves the field but, hopefully, he'll be OK.0

Sounds like Kent are back, baby!!SoundAsa£ said:A bumper crowd on a beautiful evening full of optimism and anticipation…..silenced in an instant.
Shameful.3 -
A wicket!!! Pepper caught by a diving Billings off the bowling of Milnes
110-1 (11.1)1 -
Essex win by 9 wickets with 6.2 overs to spare. A bad day at the office!2
-
Have been away this week. Reassuring to have the proper Kent back tonight.2
