YOUR vote need to include Charlton Athletic on new mural

Would really appreciate as much help as possible on this. Charlton played at the Angerstein ground pre-WW1 so should be included on the new mural on the flyover.

The museum has got us on the shortlist but now it goes to a public vote so please vote and ask as many fans/friends you know to do the same.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't submit the form. On the preferences part, it's telling me I need to put one answer per row, but can't put more than one answer in each column, which seem to be mutually exclusive requirements.

You have to rank vote, so no joint first preference

Put one in each row but only one in each column (if that makes sense).

make sure you read the question first. unlike me. You have to put it in order with 1 being your top choice and then work your way down in a order. when i first tried to do it i put 9 for Charlton thinking the higher number was most important and everything else 1.

    Took me ages.
    Not particularly intuitive.
Another unclear internet thing designed poorly.

It's an odd list to choose from.

If you haven't read the accompanying article, who is really going to know the legacy of the gasworks, the cable factory, the Angerstein wharf etc?  I sense that those choices might feature at the bottom of the list.

It's also a pity that the nearby library, donated by Andrew Carnegie, and the old fire station don't feature.

My choice would be the flyover itself.  I went off to Uni in the early 1970s and when I came back they had transformed the area I grew up in by building the tunnel approach road.

    Bastards.

Done, although a traffic light and yellow box junction would be appropriate there for without doubt the crappiest lights set up ever .
I understand we want to keep the north of the Thames lot away but if you ever have the misfortune of coming through the tunnel and turning off there to go to a Charlton match , midweek/Saturday you could end up spending the rest  of your life there , the sequence is shit .

Any chance we can include this on the mural?

As long as you put Charlton in 1 and cycling in 9, the others don't matter

An interesting read.  I don't think the whalers should be celebrated in any way or form, and also the only way to really improve the look of the flyover would be to remove it, although I admit that would royally feck the traffic.

Bob Marley would've been lost without them.
