Nathan Jones now the 21st longest serving manager in England.
Only 3 managers have been in role for 5 years4 -
A crazy stat, but these days somebody lasting 2 years is an achievement.
Curbs obviously had an incredible run, but it's worth remembering that the Gritt and Curbishley joint manager era lasted 4 seasons, an eternity by modern standards.2 -

The Venky's aren't exactly stable owners though, they're very much a risk for any Manager wanting to work on their reputationCrispywood said:

Robin Van Persie sacked by Feyenoord, despite finishing 2nd in the league, albeit 19 points behind PSV. I wonder if he'll try and get a job back in England.

Thing is, if his touchline posing and posturing got on the owners nerves as much as they got on mine, they did themselves a favour and sacked himstoneroses19 said:Not a fan of Robinson, but that’s harsh from Salford to sack him.0 -

Suspect he's aiming higher than Stockport, not lower.Lincsaddick said:

Darren Ferguson is being linked with Salford, could be 2+2=5 due to the link between the ex-United players and his Dad.

I imagine Challinor is waiting for a Championship vacancy. He might have fancied Blackburn or Bristol City, but they've gone. Watford is available, but he's not their type. He won't get Burnley (or Soton when Eckert goes) either.North Lower Neil said:

I would’ve said maybe Stoke would have been a good one for Challinor to go to, not far from where he’s from and maybe the one to get them going again.
However, Max Porter has just joined as assistant manager from Arsenal’s u21s so I can’t see Robins going anywhere anytime soon.1 -
Rochdale AFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Watson as our new Head Coach on a three-year contract.
The 40-year-old joins from National League North side South Shields, where he made an immediate impact in his first full season as Manager, leading the Mariners to the Promotion Final.

Sounds like Rob Edwards could be getting replaced @ Wolves... Rather bizarre if so0

Mckenna to step down at Ipswich and to take a break from football0
-
Kieran McKenna has left Ipswich. There have been links suggesting he is in line for the Fulham job but it’s now being reported he’s just taking a break0
-
Yup, he's taking a weeks holiday in Benidorm which will recharge his batteries and he will then take over at Fulham on his return.Addick Addict said:Mckenna to step down at Ipswich and to take a break from football12 -
Hope all is well with McKenna. Very good manager that plays exciting football. Will be really interesting to see who Ipswich go for. Tough job that one.7

Bizarre timing to "take a break" when the season finished over a month ago anyway. Surely if that was true, he would have resigned then. Or last summer after relegation.4
