    Tbh wouldn’t be spending 7 figures on a player that has no guarantee is going to start when Edwards is fit. Understand strength in depth but we really need to be using the majority of that budget in that midfield

    Pains me to say it but if Derby County want him I can’t see us getting a look in. Blackburn just possibly but definitely Derby.

    Agree on Derby, but actually think we're currently a more attractive bet than Blackburn. The mood there is horrendous, they don't have a manager yet, fans can't stand the owners and they seem to be heading in a downward trajectory.

    He is worth 7 figures if he is good enough. Plus he wont be on silly money at Dundee Utd so wont break the bank in terms of wages. Let's hope he is more Josh Edwards than Scott Fraser if he does come.

    7 figures will be the (minimum) going rate for anyone we're looking at if genuine improvement is the aim, even for "squad players". If the team as a whole is going to get better, it won't be done on the cheap.

    It’s important we spend well on wing backs too. We don’t want to be playing TC, Bell etc there again, and we hopefully can avoid bringing in free agents part way through the season like we did with Hernandez and Roussillon.

    Derby is closer to the National Railway Museum. It’s a good point.
