At the Oval today. Lawrence with a superb 150.
Unfortunately Fanny will do a rain dance for the next 3 days.
Aw, thanks for giving me the heads up, mate !

I was there too. What a knock.
  • J Roy masterclass this evening. Quarter finals in sight.

Surely winning it has to be the target if you have that side for the rest of the competition? Hampshire and Northants will be stern tests if they get to finals day but the batting depth is absolutely unmatched.

Yep. It's incredible how long Surrey have gone without winning the Blast with all the riches at our disposal.

    Great batting display by Roy.
    He still has it.

Roy is a joy to watch, or a huge disappointment. Too often the latter. He also has it in him to underwhelm on big occasions. Watch him on Finals Day  assuming Surrey win QF. Enigma
  • Beat Essex at the Oval on Sunday and should be a home quarter final, assuming Essex go on and beat Hampshire this evening as looks likely.

I won't comment on the non event over the border that's just finished. Too painful for the many Kent folk on here.

I've not posted over there as I don't think it would be appropriate.
But fuck me Kent are shit

Agreed all round, mate. I was in Worcester last weekend so saw Kent at New Road on Friday night. Their batting was pathetic so tonight was no great surprise.

You going along on Sunday for the Essex fixture ? Should be good.

Can't see anyone living with the depth and quality Surrey have. Even if you have to play a group winner in the QF (either Northamptonshire or Notts)

It's crazy you've only got 1 Blast trophy , i guess some years England callups wreck things but this squad seems to have all bases covered.
