    SL 92~8. {13}.

Kemp took 3 wickets in an over for 2 runs. Took last two with the last 2 balls, on a hat~trick next over.

A Sri Lankan fielder thought the World Cup was in Bangladesh not England? Yes, that would definitely have helped.

Anyhow, speaking of people getting text wrong, the ICC graphic advertising the next few games spelled "West Indies" wrong and wasn't fixed at any point during the game. Nice to see the ICC taking the competition seriously. Put some effort in, lads...

Who decided that South Africa would play in yellow and Australia in green? Do the ICC have no grasp of tradition at all?

England's group looks a lot easier than the other one, from what we've seen so far. South Africa-India may be a decent game. I didn't think either NZ or WI showed anything that would worry England, and actually Sri Lanka might fancy their chances if nicking second.

India currently hammering Pakistan as you'd expect. The story is that the crowd is 18,814, the highest for a group stage Women's World Cup match. Holding it in Edgbaston helps but so does the late timing of football World Cup matches

Cricket Australia and SA Cricket Union did, along with their kit suppliers, the days of standard World Cup kits ended in the 90s. Australia have been wearing Green in T20 for a while, and Yellow in 50 Oven cricket

I hope they wear a yellow apron and oven gloves for the 50 oven event 😉

New Zealand continue to be absolutely rubbish in the field and gifted Sri Lanka their first win against them in a World Cup.
Rain is coming down now so England v Ireland may have a reduced overs. Fingers crossed it passes quickly 🙏🏻

That is such a sexist comment on women’s cricket.

Looking comfortable but Nat Sciver Brunt has retired injured. That’s a worry going forward.
