Chris Benjamin is cutting loose with five 6s. The lead is rapidly approaching 400. Excellent.

304/8. Benjamin in the 90s, hoping he doesn’t get stranded…

I fear the pitch is dying and bowling them out for 87 will be meaningless as they rack up 500 runs in their second innings. Not that I'm a pessimistic type....
Lancashire 422-9 to win by 1 wicket, with Jimmy Anderson getting his first ever century.

Well played Chris Benjamin. Quite a punchy century too. The pacemen did great work this morning and the batters have done superbly in the other two sessions. Perhaps our spinners can have their day tomorrow?

What a great day to be a Kent supporter !!!!

SO pleased you were able to enjoy it, Peter. Must have given you a boost. <3

My previous posts around the value of Finchy & Benjy have been 100% validated. Love them both & of course all our lads. What a signing is Dudgeon too !

But our Kent star of the day must be "our Clive ". Multiple times on camera , still in his jazzy shorts & S/S T shirt when 99% others ( softy Lancs ) were snuggled in hoodies & even blankets !

SO pleased he was there today for this ...but where else would he be ?

    Can't wait for tomorrow ...
