Stan Prior, scorer of the 1st ever@CAFCofficial top flight goal, practising in the shooting gallery in the Valley's state of art gym, September 1936. Prior, who cost a £20 donation to Swindon Corinthians, scored 32 goals for #cafc in just 56 games.

Brief spell with QPR (3 goals in 5 games) in 1937/38 then Cheltenham in Aug 1938.
Won two promotions in four seasons with us and scored on his third, second and first division debuts.
In the 35/36 season he scored 11 league goals in 10 appearances with 7 goals coming in the last five league games.2 -
