I have a feeling that if a team pays 100m plus for Diomande they could really regret it. Looks class at times but seems to struggle with some of his passing.

All about the raw talent. Have to remember he'd be playing with better players around him too. 100m feels an overspend but there aren't many wingers actually available so they'd be paying a premium for that

Hope he does well. Really respect the difficulties he’s had to deal with in his family life.

Just a lot of hype around him currently and hope he can reach the level expected of him.

Why has he not just put his foot through that first time?!

A few fluffed chances by both teams there. Maybe a draw is the right result didn't need to be

If you’d shown this game to a neutral that knew nothing about football you’d assume the two teams were of equal standing.

Fair play to Ivory Coast, they look a decent side.

Nmecha is a play though. Plays like the old spurs player Moussa Dembele.

Smooth on the ball with a quality passing range.

Surely Undav starts for them in the knockout stages now.

The Germany manager dressed like he should be an extra in Kevin and Perry

Also failed to seek out the CDI manager to shake hands at the end. Ignorant, arrogant and badly dressed

I thought he looked like a bad guy from The Sweeney.

The first person I’ve taken a dislike to at the WC.

Well done Curacao, getting a point off Ecuador.

Confirms the Germans as winners of Group E.

Was German winner offside? Looked it to me but not seen a slomo.

Got into Boston yesterday and it was a sea of tartan, today the sea turned into a small river and tha English are starting to hit town. Tomorrow it will be a torrent of English and the Scots will resemble the Deptford creek. Order will be restored!

Wasn’t over keen on Dallas (apart from the game) but Boston is a brilliant city.

Japan should have had a pen in the first minute imo. No VAR review.
Japan score in the 3rd minute.

    Tunisia absolutely woeful.

They should organise a game between them and Qatar to figure out who’s the worst team at the tournament.
