Having a moan... why is Wayne Rooney all over the BBC like a rash at the moment ?
He is a bit shit, and I've heard he prefers an older woman. Although I don't think that is relevant.
I would have thought Jamie Vardy would get some help as he is a few quid short at the moment after recent decisions didn't go his way.
He signed a big deal with them last summer. They’re going to try to turn him into the lead pundit. He needs more practice but can only get that while being on the TV…

Fuck me. This commentator has serious verbal diarrhoea.
Earlier he spent 2 minutes talking about the Spanish commentator. Now he’s talking about Youri Djorkaeff’s bollocks.

Shut the fuck up mate. Commentate on the game.

I honestly don’t understand why he would even contemplate a media career he has never been able to string a sentence together it’s not like he needs the money. If he wants to stay in football he should start an academy or something to try and keep himself busy and put something back into the sport rather that embarrassing himself and inflicting this shite on viewers

Hard to believe I know but he is getting better. And he might enjoy media work more than academy coaching

To be fair, he’s been talking bollocks all game, but when he started literally talking about Djorkaeff’s bollocks it tipped me over the edge.

VAR doing it's best to ruin the beautiful game. It destroys the moment, so slow

looked a clear offside to me, dont know why it takes them so long to roll the video to the final pass and draw a line...

The “expert” commentators don’t appear to want to offer an opinion.

What happened to the auto VAR for offsides?

From an England perspective, don’t we want Spain to win this?

Keeps them away from us for longer I’d assume.
Yeah live update has Spain now in the other half of the draw, and if we win our RO32 game, we'll face Mexico or Saudi Arabia
Its Portugal we just need out of the way next

Do we not also need Brazil to slip up as if they win there group we meet them in the 1/4s

From what I’ve seen of them so far, they look average.

    Agreed.

We absolutely could lose that game, but there are at least 5 or 6 teams better than them (maybe more)

Gordon and Madueke would murder their RB and LB. Bellingham against Casemiro is a total mismatch too

Vini would be my only worry, and even then I think James would do a decent job against him.

Whatever the path for England, the final will likely be against France / Spain / Germany or similar on the other side of the draw. So if we can’t beat this Brazil in the QF, we wouldn’t have had a chance anyway.

Can't wait too see how we play on Tuesday. Sort out our defence we'll be in the conversation.

Moving to this game, i'd love Iran to win just because of how the players have been treated.

Ingenuity yes, but they’ve wasted a dead ball situation and a shot on goal because the striker can’t stay on side. Got to do the basics right if you’re the striker there.

Probably not to be fair…it might just be me, but her approach to most things just screams “ME”…

Doing a job where social media has jumped on her over the last few days must be bloody hard. Didnt know whether she would be back with the board - but that took proper guts IMO.
