Other team's new kits

Pompey kit is straight out of a catalogue - Hull's is very nice, bit of a Port Vale vibe from last season about it, will look even better if they don't plaster a sponsor on the front2

There have been complaints about our new upgraded Hospitality facilities but they still knock Pompeys into a cocked hat!fenaddick said:Not a fan of Pompey's kit. Supposedly celebrating 100 years of the club but the only nod is the gold detailing0 -
A smashing retro feel to the new Rangers shirt

Talking of gold on kits, caught Naomi Osaka wearing this the other day, pretty tacky. Nike design team strike again.Pelling1993 said:
Generally speaking I think gold looks pretty naff on football kits.fenaddick said:Not a fan of Pompey's kit. Supposedly celebrating 100 years of the club but the only nod is the gold detailing

Derby also had the same design for their kits that season, so definitely not bespoke for us.0

Sunderland have released an away kit that's a tribute to Elvis:

Tried something different I guess, but looks awful, in my opinion - like a bowling shirt rather than a football shirt.0 -
It’s a take on a well known Elvis shirt that he wore on the Milton Berle show when he did the infamous hound dog routine that caused so much controversy at the time, Austin Butler wore one in the biopic film, I am thinking of getting one and the blue Hawaii warm up t shirt (although it’s blue and not red like the album cover) purely because I’m an Elvis nerd and I think they will become collectible and it will add to my collection, and I have a soft spot for the Mackems.North Lower Neil said:Sunderland have released an away kit that's a tribute to Elvis:

He sang the song in the Blue Hawaii film and closed all of his 70’s concerts with it, apparently they are touring the USA this summer so a marketing dream, I have seen lots of my Elvis friends on Facebook groups saying they will buy it as well for the same reasons as me.3 -
The France top from yesterday's game was lovely. I suppose the colour would be classed as mint.

I hope our new kit will be just as symbolic, maybe a nice silver as a tribute to the Thames Barrier?0

Previously France used a white away kit. It also had historical context, and was designed to be dual purpose.sam3110 said:

Coventry's new home kit. Interesting to go blue and white stripes but I guess it was signed off way before promotion.
