Not sure that result has done us any favours. They haven’t let more than 1 goal in since before Jesus was born !! We might struggle there0

I'm not gloating.
If we have to play Ecuador, that's gonna be tough as the crowd seems 80% Ecuadorian 😳1 -
Thanks @LargeAddick now have that song ringing in my head 🤣0

Tunisia have to be up there with one of the worst sides to ever grace the World Cup
Their squad isn’t even that bad.0 -
Tunisia suck0

Watching the Japan v Sweden match at the FIFA Fan Festival in Dallas - $25 a beer (inc. tip)!

It is highly unlikely that England play Ecuador in the round of 32.MrLargo said:BBC knockout stage predictor - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/schedule#KnockoutStage - now has England playing Ecuador rather than Algeria in the last 32 off the back of Ecuador going in front. Not massively keen on that prospect.
Following the completion of Group E, Ecuador’s path:
- 84.0% vs 1A (Mexico)
- 7.9% vs 1L (England’s group)
- 5.2% vs 1B (Switzerland)
- 2.9% vs 1K (Portugal’s group)1 -
I rather like the Jocks and have been very impressed by the noise they have made. They have bought a great crowd presence to the World Cup and will be missed. Their players stunk the place out though.2

It was a big can to be fair. But a can none the less. I think because it’s an official FIFA event they have to charge the same as in the stadiumsElfsborgAddick said:

How are you getting to that probability? Out of curiosity.Callumcafc said:

So Opta give Scotland a 5.26% chance of getting through. They need Senegal and Iraq to draw plus Uruguay and Iran to lose their remaining games.0

There's other permutations where soms of the sides currently above Scotland lose by enough goals to go below them etc, but all quite unlikelyAddick Addict said:So Opta give Scotland a 5.26% chance of getting through. I think Senegal will best Iraq and that will effectively put them out.
From BBC Sport:
What results do Scotland need to qualify? There are eight groups left to play, and Scotland need four third-placed teams to have a worse record than them.It means they need a minimum of four of the following scenarios to play out:FRIDAYGroup I: Senegal and Iraq to draw.Or Iraq to beat Senegal by no more than two goals.Group H: Uruguay to lose to Spain.Group G: Iran to lose to Egypt.SATURDAYGroup L: Croatia to lose to Ghana by at least three goals.Group K: DR Congo v Uzbekistan to be a draw.Or Uzbekistan to win by no more than three goals.Group J: Austria and Algeria are on three points and a draw would send both through.Scotland need Algeria to lose by two or more goals, or Austria to be beaten by at least four goals.1 -

Really?!, just had a look... Last 16 we will play Mexico in Mexico. Quarterfinal will be Brazil, semi final will be Argentina and then we have Germany in the final 60 years on from 1966.AndyG said:Just had a look at the as it stands knockout rounds, if things go as predicted England if they get themselves into gear will never have a better chance to get to the final.1
