I've seen enough, Rashford is Campbell.

    Get Gordon on next game.
Gordon was dreadful first 2 games, think I'd probably start Eze
Eze doesn’t run any faster than a jog!!, why play him wide?
Eze was an exciting,  attacking player before he joined Arsenal.  He seems a plodding midfielder now...
I genuinely believe they have to check for a pulse with him every now and then🙄
I don’t remember Olise being that much better than Eze when they were both at Palace. Now one of them is one of the best in the world and one is struggling massively. Think more wingers could do with moves overseas
Agree with the experience overseas, he’s not a winger though is he? (Eze)

Had a great time despite the weather. Sat near the designated “England end” and saw both goals come from action directly below us.

The game wasn't great, but still better football than the Giants and Jets have been serving up for the last few years😀

Right from the off,I said Tuchel had made mistakes with his squad.
1)Our defence looks awful,so wide open, even in the air we win little, where is Harry Maguire.
2)That game was crying out for someone other than Bellingham to be a goal threat from midfield,MG White been scoring for fun,who do we  have to bring on,36 year old Henderson, ridiculous.
    3) Finally,we have very quick forwards, crying out for long balls over the top, best passer of a ball we have,Arnold who is lying on his sunbed, while the likes of Dan Burn,Quansah, add nothing, while James is now injured(and has been a lot of the season)
If we have to face Mbappe,Messi,Jamail and their mates,we will get stuffed.
I don’t like Henderson, he’s crap, but he was a like for like change for Anderson after we scored twice. If he wasn’t there, it would probably be Wharton who isn’t a goal threat either.
We could have just bought Mainoo on for Anderson.
That isn’t a like for like change - Tuchel wanted to see out the game and give Anderson a bit of rest. Mainoo is dreadful defensively and Rice was/is injured so Henderson is the only choice.

It seems like this excellent England team might have an Achilles heel on the right side of defence.

I’d consider Rice playing right back.

Did you see how much we missed him in the midfield yesterday??

Yes but I’m talking about right back . The lack of quality full backs will be our undoing .

Disagree. Can be as strong as we like at right back (not that we are) but with a midfield like we played yesterday we’ll be totally overrun in the middle

    Rice has to play midfield.

You'd rather stick Konsa at RB or Stones than Rice.

Just maybe Tuchel Is a genius. I keep hearing he has picked a squad to beat top teams when it gets down to the business end. From what I can see so far the top teams will destroy us but he knows far more than me so I’m hoping he is right and I’m wrong

Alright I’ll bite. What other fit holding midfielder could we have brought on to replace Anderson?

I think Engand had to be a bit open and playing this sort of game is clearly not easy for them. It wasn't easy on the eye but they deserved the win and got it. I would expect DR Congo to play in a similar way. We really need that early goal in games like these.

    And the left.

    Possibly in the centre too.

Saw something on twitter discussing this very point last week where someone asked if Palace fans always knew Olise was the better of the two. The general opinion was that Olise was always very good and very consistent, but Eze tended to have the better highlights (for example scoring decent goals).

So to the casual observer who didn't watch Palace every week and only saw highlights of games you'd be more likely to think Eze was better. But if you watched them week in week out, Olise would always stand out.
