Coventry's new home kit. Interesting to go blue and white stripes but I guess it was signed off way before promotion.

Coventry have a history of blue and white stripes.

And of course they won the FA Cup in 1987 wearing stripes. Think they suit Coventry really well personally.

Yeah very Keith Houchen, the Monzo colours give the same vibe as the Granada Bingo one that was there in ‘87

Love an 80s / early 90s throwback kit.... all the rage at the moment. Thats giving me major 1987 FA Cup Final vibes

Anyone else think Dartford’s kit looked like an old Fulham one?

New Koln away kit. Someone please photoshop a Charlton badge and RSK on it. Would have been perfection.

That’s very nice. Also a fan of the Swiss shirt at the World Cup if it was a Charlton one.

They have had some good kits over the years, when Braziliance did his club shop tour they had a good retro shirts section, hopefully our shop does a few more.

Was it them or villa 1st to have the laced top shirt back in the day, not saying I loved it but was a bit of an unusual one at the time.

Amazes me how people on here can mock up kits so, so much better than what we end up with. The two versions just above would sell incredibly well in comparison to what it’ll be this year.

Literally just ran the image of the Koln kit through chatgpt and added the mesh kit and gave a few instructions. Was done in less than 2 minutes, the kit designers just seem to have no clue what we actually want

My absolutely uninformed guess would be that it is a lot easier to come up with a kit design when you’re not confined by stuff like a budget, brand identity, and copyright law.

I guess it just goes to show how impossible a job kit designers actually have; I think those kits above are absolutely criminal and I wouldn't go near them. I hate pinstripes on a home kit and I despised the 19/20 attempt at tribute to it. Creating something less simple carries with it the risk of being polarising and selling less

The hand and sword in that last one is just wrong.
Can’t really explain it, but there’s something about the detail of the hand that gives me the creeps.

One is an electronic image on the screen, the other is a physical product that has to be manufactured, have materials sourced, designed, prototyped.
It's a bit like comparing getting someone with an AI girlfriend to go out and find a real woman who looks the same, "why can't the real one look like the one on the screen.."

Amazingly York launched a kit in front of the same train (I assume in the National Railway Museum)
