    I dunno if I'm annoyed as such, but yesterday I followed a young fella on a skateboard - he was doing 30mph on the straight! 

    I followed him into a right turn where we descended a steep hill.  He slowed right down here (to about 20) and generously waved us past.  However, as I dropped my son at the station he sped past us again.  He wore no head protection or high viz gear, it must be an extremely hazardous, dangerous occupation.

    Dangerous, stupid, risky ... but I did have a sneaky regard of his skills  :| .  

    (Google tells me the skateboard is controlled by a remote hand held unit).

    Supermarkets selling produce from abroad when it is peak season for home grown fruit and vegetables. This week both Sainsbury's and Tesco were selling Spanish cherries, when it is peak cherry season in the UK, especially in Kent. Kentish cherries are some of the best in the world. Well done to Aldi who are selling cherries from Kent.

    supply's not a problem they only have to drive their trucks along any A or B road and they can stock up from the roadside stalls that are everywhere (they stock strawberries and tea & coffee too!)

    Trouble is, you’ve assumed they're not supporting British farmers because they don’t have stock in your local shops. To be fair, I’d agree that in Kent, (where I’m assuming you’re based) there should be a higher proportion of Kent produce, but as has been pointed out, sometimes there’s a bigger picture.
    Maybe if you go to the Tesco’s in another nearby town they’ll have Kent cherries, but have run out of Spitfire! 😉

    I reckon we get more money exporting Kent cherries to another country, and it's then cheaper to import another country's cherries.

    Ordering something online and getting an email telling you that your order is on its way and inviting you to click a link to 'track my order'. When you click on that link, you're faced with a page that asks you to complete delivery instructions!

    Sure, here are your delivery instructions: 1. Walk up to the house. 2. Ring the doorbell. 3. Wait for someone to open the door. 4. Check with them that it's the right place. 5. Assuming it is the right place, hand over the goodies, say goodbye and leave. Job done.

    It takes me more than a minute or two.
    You used to he able to tell by the appearance of the players and their kits, but not anymore, apart from the odd exception.
