If Kate can walk the 3 peaks with no bother Harry can look after himself, eejit.3

I also find her deeply irritating, the only thing that unsettles me is the hate campaign they were subjected to from the start by the odious Daily Mail. Which did its best to prejudice the country against her from the start and which I think was primarily due to the 'little england' and racist Mail. If they had been less nasty I think everything could have gone a lot better.Arsenetatters said:Prince Harry and his irritating wife. I thought you wanted to avoid the limelight? When you give way to someone and they can't muster up the energy to wave thank you properly. Instead, all they can manage is to raise their index finger off their steering wheel. I always feel like I'm being given out. Oh, thanks for that mate, can you remind me what way it is back to the pavilion please?4

Try living in North London mate, no one ever acknowledges it when you give way to them. Annoyed the fuck out of me when we lived over thereStig said:When you give way to someone and they can't muster up the energy to wave thank you properly. I have an apple tree in the garden and seem to spend the whole summer picking the rotten mushy bastards off the ground.0 -
You're meant to pick them off the tree before they fall!SporadicAddick said:Apples.

Not a problem with my other fruit trees as they just stubbornly refuse to fruit1 -
Count yourself lucky, we have a Cherry tree and this year had one solitary Cherry, and that had been pecked!.Carter said:

Got on train.
Took off sunglasses.
Realised left my normal glasses in the central console of car.
Sat at computer in the office looking like Stevie Wonder

Parked at Ebbsfleet several years ago, went through passport control, had to remove sunglasses, sat in the lounge waiting for my train then remembered normal glasses were still in the car! Thought I was going to have to go on holiday without them but a member of the security staff escorted me to the car so that I could collect themMrOneLung said:Got on train.

Watching sports when you have three pundits, can you all stop talking at once and perhaps listen then add your opinion.
Seems to happen in football, racing and now the TDF.2 -
Am currently in Queen Mary’s eye department.I’m lucky that my sight is really good following my cataract operations but feel for people who can’t see well as all the posters are in very small font. The smallest being one from the Kent Association for the blind.1

There's some daft woman in my shoe shop who keeps staring at the advertising posters we've got up and shouting that she's got an appointment.9

McCoist not knowing what a half volley is2

Debatable. A true half volley is a strike as the ball and ground make contact or immediately after the ball starts to rise. It was probably three inches from being a true half volley, but I think you can get away with calling it one, just.IdleHans said:McCoist not knowing what a half volley is
the only other decription I would think of would be “struck on the rise”.0 -
Moronic commentators getting ridiculously carried away. I turned Talk Sport on in the car just as Egypt scored their second goal tonight. "Egypt are heading for the Quarter Finals of the World Cup", screamed the commentator. Blimey, 2-0 is a good score, but Argentina are a good team. They must be in extra time or something to make such a bold claim. Not a bit of it, they were just 67 minutes in which as we have since seen was more than enough for Argentina to turn around the deficit. Idiots.0
