Guehi and Konsa absolutely shitting it. He’s made Gabriel and Marquinhos look like kids.

If we get through tonight we’ll have to put 3 or 4 past this lot to have a chance.
They'll get more protection than Casemiro and Guimaraes provide at least.
Not if Rice is playing at right back

    Haaland: 54 caps, 62 goals.

He didn’t even play their last group game and he’s on 7 goals for the tournament, equal for the golden boot.

Playing Norway is like going to war against a country with only a reservist Army but that also has nuclear weapons.

Thank fuck Haaland scored that second, imagine if this was 1-0 and he's given that

And he's playing for Norway, who haven't qualified for years, not the same thing as playing for the 2 finalists of the last world cup is it. Phenomenal

Haaland is scary, but I think this Brazil side, despite having a couple of big names, are bang average as a unit.

Even with the big names, their star man Vinicius hasn’t really done much at this tournament (although he should have had a top drawer assist today).

Despite that, they’ve been wasteful and the Norway keeper’s had the game of his life. That is what has allowed Haaland to be so impactful. On another day he would’ve been scoring consolation goals.

Not saying England are necessarily the team to do it, but I don’t think even Haaland will be enough, alone, to beat the best teams at the competition.

Embarrassing from Neymar after that penalty.  All about him, rather than a team facing a limp exit in R16.

Absolute cringefest giving it large to the keeper and the keeper basically retorted it doesn't matter anyway you're going home haha

Worst Brazil side in living memory perhaps.

They qualified 5th from CONMEBOL this cycle behind Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay - that wouldn’t have been good enough to see them through in previous iterations of the tournament with 32 teams.

The posturing and shithousing when all you’ve done is score a consolation goal speaks volumes.

Born in Leeds. We really missed a trick especially given he's seven years younger than Kane. Imagine bringing Haaland on against tired defenders.

One unusual aspect for both of them is that they are both July birthdays - ordinarily those born in the latter part of the school year usually struggle to establish themselves but then both were physically big for their age growing up.

Neymar is in my opinion one of the most overrated players ever. He was talked about as if he was nearly on a par with Messi and Ronaldo. He was never near that level and now looks like a slower version of Onel Hernandez

That final few minutes of the Norway game absolutely stunk. the ref looked like he wanted to keep playing until Brazil scored again

New: Trump called Infantino last week and said everyone was telling him the decision was wrong, urging him to review Balogun’s automatic one-game suspension.

Infantino promised to look into the matter. Later he called Trump back and told him the suspension would be reversed.

Almost as if Infantino and Trump are corrupt. Who would have thought it!
