So what do we need to do to appeal the Quansah red? Who’s going to call Infantino?

I think this is a disgrace. The decision was upheld on the pitch which should be it. You just can't be doing this. Infantino has to go. Yes, somebody just as bad will take over as FIFA is like the Mafia but this is unacceptable.

Quite. The whole point of VAR is to prevent post match appeals. But in Gianni’s world 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Neymar retires from international football.
I think international football retired Neymar.

Trying to make it a 3 game suspension not just one?  Sensible.

UEFA need to take this as an opportunity to open dialogue with COMMEBOL about a breakaway

Good statement from UEFA, but it stops short of calling for any action by FIFA or by anyone else. My hope is that there'll be a lot of pressure behind the scenes. My fear is that they'll feel powerless against the axis forces and, by ending that statement with nothing but their disbelief, there'll be no more to come from them.

Europe is showing that we are the best footballing continent. By quite a stretch.  FIFA needs us.

    Watched the Brazil/Norway game.

Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t a bad side at all, but Brazil could’ve been out of sight had they just held their nerve. Missed penalty, missed one on one, multiple good saves from Nyland.

500 passes compared to Brazils 200 odd was the surprising stat.

If we can shut down their midfield and stop supply to Haaland I think we get the job done.

As much as we have to try and deal with the danger of Haaland, Norway will also have to make sure they have a plan to deal with Kane, and we also have Bellingham on 4 goals as an imminent threat. Suspect it will be won or lost in the midfield.

There's a very real possibility we might see Ronaldo cry tonight

I hope this is the case, whether it be legally or storming FIFA's headquarters and razing it to the ground, and  that this malefeasant con sponsored by Trump is consigned to the gutter where it belongs.
Blatter; Platini; Infantino: a gallery of two-bob, vulgar spivs who should be nowhere near football.

I reckon they'll do the Spaniards actually, but it won't be him that's the hero

We don't know what UEFA have or have not said to FIFA in the background but a threat of UEFA affiliated nations withdrawing from any future FIFA World Cups unless this decision is overturned would be a start.

The nuclear option would be for all teams, starting with Belgium, to refuse to play the USA - resulting in the USA being awarded byes right through to and including the final. They can them shove the trophy up Trump's arse.

None of the above will happen of course

Incredible that this is allowed to happen. I've seen a few people point out that the red may have been excessive. However Infantino the corrupt leader of FIFA can now expect to be pressured to overturn every decision post match. Or he can give Trump back whatever he was given (unless it was an Epstein photo in which case he'll probably have to strike off every goal the US concede between now and their winning the cup in the court of appeal.

I truly believe that FIFA will not survive this self-inflicted, riven with corruption and greed, wound.
