Not sure what the capacity of this ground is, but there must be 36,000 ex football players in the corporate seats
Fuck me, the Beckham's got about 3,000 tickets
Only surprise is he didn't have more ... I thought he owned Miami.

I reckon he'll be back to the airport shortly for a flight back to England so he can be at the Gentlemen's Single Final in SW19 before popping up at the semi final on Wednesday.

I love Dan Burn. No one will ever say he's the most gifted of footballers but he fought his way back from working in a supermarket and playing part-time for North Shields to representing England. And the one thing you just know is that he will never back down or avoid a challenge, physical or otherwise.
I love him because he’s a relic of old school English football finding a way to contribute on the biggest stage in the modern era. And the truth is, like a premium spec Lloyd Jones, there’s still a time and place for it.

That might be the last time he’s needed because, if we are fortunate enough to be defending a lead against France, or Spain, or Argentina, I doubt it will be the same crosses raining down and heading away bombs type of defending, but in the last two matches he’s been an asset and whatever happens he’ll fly home knowing he did his bit when called upon.

Fair play to the big man from Blythe

Interesting response of whatever from Bellingham about Tuchel being unhappy with the performance.

Now it would only be fit and proper for an all European semi-final. So come on the Swiss (that's got nothing to do with the fact that playing them will be easier than Argentina of course).

Irrelevant. They’re both honest. I’m sure they appreciate that in each other.

Immediately I thought he was responding to Tuchel's reaction... On reflection it's probably straight to the interviewer. "Whatever mate stop trying to stir/dig?"

This England team reminds me of those Germany sides from the 2000s. They were rarely brilliant to watch and could look pretty ordinary for long spells, yet they always seemed to find a way into the semi-finals or finals.

More often than not, though, that was where their run ended. Once they came up against the genuine flair teams like Brazil or Spain, they just didn't have the quality or creativity to match them.

Nah I took it that Bellingham didn't care about Clarke's questions
Felt like he immediately knew the angle ITV were going for

Exactly yeh. Players will know it wasn’t great, but who cares, we’re through.

Always nice to see the absolute meltdown online from rival fans when it comes to England winning. Apparently it’s been suggested that our equaliser hit the wire of the spider cam from the goal kick which changed the direction of the ball? Don’t remember any Norway players making a fuss of it at the time, either everyone online is coping or it was missed

    Negatives:
Some didn’t play great. Kane was poor, Pickford had a mare for the goal, Stones got away with one. Eze wasn’t great. Rice was obviously not ready.

    Positives:
Bellingham was good, Gordon wasn’t bad, good cameos from Spence and Rogers. Saka was ok, Burn for his 10 minutes was a monster.
Nobody picked up a second yellow. Rice should be better for the semi. James will hopefully be more fit.

    Also:
After the Mexico game, I feel people got a bit carried away with how good we are. This game was a reality check, which I don’t think is a bad thing. Also, I think we’re better when we’re the outsiders. We play so much worse when we’re expected to win. We’ll certainly be the outsiders if we play Argentina.

A stupid fucking question from **Edit** Gabriel Clarke (sorry Guy Mowbray).

And now he’s trying to stir shit between Bellingham and Tuchel.

    Tuchel should’ve chinned him.

Tuchal is completely right that we were poor and 'lucky' to go through. A game of very small margins.

Needs to be a lot better. Bellingham and Anderson were fantastic, Spence too when he came on. Rest need to up the level a lot.

I feel like we’ve rarely had our best 11 available in fairness.

Would be really excited to see us play with a fully fit first 11. Saka and Gordon with O’Reilly and James makes us a hell of a lot stronger.

Got to dig deep somehow and go again.
