You lot are so lucky you don’t have to watch the Canadian coverage. I have to put up with Steven Caldwell and Kevin Kilbane as pundits. A Scot and an Irishman who can both barely hide how much they hate it when England win.

Managed to get through the match without a booking so he'll be available for the semi-final.

    Phew!

I love Tuchel’s appraisal because I think we were lucky. However, we got the win, and that’s that done.

What bothers is me is those numpties with T shirts of B.Moore and H. Kane holding the World Cup. Don’t these people realise that the football gods forever punish us for such over indulgence?  You can celebrate each win, but don’t tempt fate ffs.

Further on from the Scottish in Norway kits drama in my Turkish hotel, 5 Scottish kids all kitted up spent the whole game calling England fans c***s, so my brother in law told their parents (who were in another part of the hotel boozing) that their kids were putting themselves in harms way. The mum went for him and the dad wanted a tear up.

This is a 5 star establishment btw.

    Fucking beautiful tears from them.

Thank f**k the BBC have the Semi-Final so we dont have to put up with Clarke

Gabriel Clarke is a complete and utter arse hole.
Clarke saying is mentality the problem to Tuchel is crazy, then he tried to wind Bellingham up
when mentality is our biggest strength along with having world class  Bellingham and Kane, plus Anderson with Gordon who I was surprised Tuchel took off.
Haaland being injured helped in that last 15 minutes eased the pressure.

I predicted that Pickford would've an erratic WC and that was a strange mistake he made in this game when he pulled his hand away from the cross shot.

Kane said the heat and humidity was brutal and much worse than Mexico.

Find their room and absolutely blast ‘It’s coming home’ outside all night.

Scottish tears are the best tears.

I normally like Gabriel Clarke, but he badly misjudged his interviews tonight.

Agree with Tuchel that we were lucky. The defending in the second half was so passive, we were letting them cross and shoot much too easily. Thankfully Sorloth let us off the work with the worst piece of play I've seen at this world cup.

We got the job done in the end. But we have to better than that.

Gabriel Clarke betraying the typical English media attitude around England. There’s more column inches and talk radio hours in picking apart failures than celebrating success so they’re all just waiting with their pre-sharpened knives just hoping is not-so-glorious defeat again. Pricks.

As Billy Brag once asked, “Which side are you on?”

I don't think you can understate playing in 100F heat for 120 minutes

You don't, you're allowed to leave the room or mute the TV when the people you don't like are on

Huge bonus that the semi is in an air conditioned 21c stadium

Love this team and what Southgate built. We're onto something special here.

The saying goes “good teams find a way to win when not playing well” there is something about this group that makes me think they might just click at the right tine

Now let's see how the VAR influences the Argie's game.

Think the manner of Norway's approach to the game, and the heat and humidity created a pedestrian game.
Hope England can kick on in the next match. Bellingham World class again tonight.
But winning when not playing at your best is a good habit to have.

Gabriel Clarke is a snivelling little rat.

Praying a big gust of wind blows the knobhead away before the semi final.

Imagine trying to bring your country down. Absolute loser.

I would still like to see goals coming from other players. Yes I know that Kane and Bellingham have got us where we are with 12 of our 13 goals but Kane was very quiet today (he's had more minutes than any of the outfield players and that might be catching up with him) and if Bellingham was to have an off-day too come the semi or even final then others will need to step up.

At least Rooney was a great footballer even if it takes him a while to find the right words !

Morgan Rogers showing exactly what we need to do more.

Saka/Rice/Anderson/Gordon - just have a go from distance. It’s too safe at times and we lose the ball without threatening.

Will infantile appoint 7 Argie officials?
Will England "fans" see this as OK because in their opinion they are the best?

There’s maybe a clue in Infantino sitting next to the Norwegian prince. Like he also sat among all the Mexican dignitaries.
    Laughable.
Can you explain why he has done this? And the Trump call?
    I suspect you can't.
    Anything??
@MrWalker I'm not stuck to this forum to rapidly respond to your conspiracy nonsense, so apologies if I didn't answer quickly enough.

But no, nothing. I don't believe the outcome of matches in this world cup are being influenced as a result of corruption.
