    I'd give Foden a go through the middle instead of Toney in the Nations League when Kane needs a rest. We look so much better with pace on the pitch

    Tuchel wasn't brought in for us to finish 3rd, he was brought in for us to win the World Cup or at least make the final. He has purely achieved what Southgate did, thanks to his ludicrous tactics on Wednesday.

    You have to allow for the French having been hit harder than England by losing in the semis. They expected to win the whole thing, England knew they were outsiders once it got to the final 4. But can we put the complaining aside for a moment and enjoy a good performance and a scoreline that may not represent a likely outcome in the next Euros but is still extremely funny.

    This game does matter for some of the players.  Henderson had an excellent half for example. Pickford's place isn't set in stone.
