Not based on anything but would be great if the new rb was Danny Imray. He looked decent at West Brom and still not left Palace yet. Also has the same agent as Karlan.

Would absolutely love Imray to sign however I think I read somewhere that 8 clubs were interested and Wrexham was one of them. I am of course referring to Stoke, Preston and Bristol City. Bang average sides that are pure gatekeeper teams in this league (respectfully, I wish we were them) and their spend on one player will probably match our budget this season and in some cases, last seasons.
Of course Boro don't fit that bill, but they're still in the same league as us, and they're spending big sums. Irrespective of if that was funded by player sales.
Bookies have us down as 2nd favourites to go down. On squad strength alone, I am struggling to identify 3 squads worse than ours with the exception of the newly promoted trio, two of which I expect to be almost on par with us before the season starts.
I just think it's going to be an extremely difficult season and 21st would be a hell of an achievement imo with our circumstances. (One of the lowest spending sides in the league with a lot of league 1 players still)
Joint third favs to go down. It goes Lincoln, Bolton and then us and Cardiff equal (Bet365).
It's very different this season, as there aren't any teams with transfer embargos like Hull, or point deductions.
This is a far more difficult season to stay up.

Bolton were a mediocre side, who scraped up via the playoffs

Abu Kamara, the Hull right winger, is being linked with us on X by a few sources on the Hull side.
My main memory of him is from his loan spell at Portsmouth in League One. He had a brilliant season there and looked class against us.
He followed that up with a solid first season in the Championship, but since then his form seems to have dropped off.

Kamara’s an interesting one, was on loan at Getafe last season who finished 7th in La Liga but only played 13 times.
As a left footed right winger he’d fit into the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 we’ve been using in preseason.
Had a great season with Pompey a few years ago in L1 and has only just turned 23. A talented player who’s maybe not getting as much interest after not impressing in recent seasons is the type we’d look at as they could be more affordable.
He’s also 6 ft so passes the height test.
