Alli to me would be a very average signing in L1 let alone the Champ. I hope it’s wrong but like them all they’ll get my backing if he joins.5

Mills is back for Oxford but still no BDK0

Googled Holsgrove and one of the first things to pop up is his Instagram. Playing top-flight in Portugal… living in Cascais with sun, the beach, good food, amazing quality of life - looks like he’s living the dream. I can see Jones might have a tough sell tbh

On €5000 a week though mate. Unfortunately, what it comes down to a lot of the time.daveydanger said:Googled Holsgrove and one of the first things to pop up is his Instagram. Is Holsgrove any good?2

Fair enough. I just don’t think he has the workrate of an NJ player and although he has the odd flash of skill, I don’t think he’s good enough, especially as I think we’ll be 5-3-2 in no time if we have a bad start. I guess we’ll see soon enough.Yann897 said:

I’m flying to Portugal tomorrow so I’ll have a word with my Estoril supporting waiter.flyingkiwiDK said:🚨 Charlton Athletic are understood to be one of several Championship clubs keeping tabs on Estoril midfielder Jordan Holsgrove. The 26-year-old Scotsman has spent the past three seasons in Portugal with the Liga Portugal outfit and is now attracting interest from England. 👀24 -
That’s up to him to instil the work rate then. We fundamentally have to fine other ways to win games other then lump it to go one nil up and then defend for the rest of the gamemart77 said:

Not arguing at the position and what is needed to better our chance at wins, I just don’t rate the player and at 26 I’d expect him to have that work rate already.wmcf123 said:

Poor fella.3 -
That is a good point tbf. Say if we do end up signing two wingers. Both of the rumours I do believe will improve us. However if we do revert to 5-3-2, it would / could lead to another Apter situation. Neither or them will cope being wing backs thats for sure.mart77 said:

You will know the player better than I do, fair enough .mart77 said:

Had a look at the Pompey forum and their season rating for Alli was a 5 out of 10.I hope we go for Kamara but as always, in NJ we trust1

Really starting to think those unknown messages were Stjohnshill.Getting worried he’s behind a paywall now.14

Have a look at this. Seems to be the exact midfielder we need. Composed, puts a foot in, and direct/creative.daveydanger said:Is Holsgrove any good?

Poor fella. If I was him I’d be quite happy living like a king in Southern Europe1 -
It was a troll I believe, whom I think many were glad to see the back of.John_Fitzpatrick1 said:Really starting to think those unknown messages were Stjohnshill.Getting worried he’s behind a paywall now.4 -
Listen I could be wrong and I’ll back him if he comes in. Started representing Ireland lately too, so good luck to the lad.wmcf123 said:

One of the best passing stats in his league and in Europe iirc, his forward passes put him in the top 10% in top leagues of Europe just about. Ofc the caveat is that’s in the Portuguese top division, so similar level to the championshipdaveydanger said:Is Holsgrove any good?2 -

I reckon a trip to Makro and a couple of Friday night pints in the Woolwich Wetherspoons will turn his head.daveydanger said:Googled Holsgrove and one of the first things to pop up is his Instagram. I'm confused. Alii or Kamara ?Redrobo said:
I did not get this from anyone connected with Charlton so believe it to be accurate as in we have had discussions and a move is close.Addickhead86 said:0 -
I’ve heard the fact there’s now a bobs your uncle cafe in Eltham AND Woolwich has made a huge difference to negotiations.Brownie12 said:

Wolves fans on Twitter seem to think they’re in for Holsgrove0

Yep spotted that too. Think they’re more likely with their Portuguese connections and being able to offer him a lot more.daveydanger said:Wolves fans on Twitter seem to think they’re in for Holsgrove2 -
Just got £30m from Villa for João Gomes too so there's a big gap in their midfield.Diebythesword said:

But on the other hand Holsgrove might be our first choice but only their 2nd/3rd/4th choice.MarcusH26 said:

If any of these clubs with much bigger budgets than us wanted him that much he might have moved by now.4
