    We don't need any midfielders, Alan Mwamba can just play all three roles on his own

    He’s the only one close imo, Fullah is bullied every time, the rest just are not up to championship, any reliance on them we are in a bad way

    I did not get this from anyone connected with Charlton so believe it to be accurate as in we have had discussions and a move is close.

    Believe his family are from the area and he was brought up locally which always helps. He'd also be our main man. Clutching at straws I'm aware. But we need someone like him urgently.

    I’m concerned we are still being linked with coady and Dykes, they both were what we needed in January, but it also showed what we need now, unless both are planned as off the bench players, our progression is going to be slower than we’ve been told. We need pace and power more than slow experience as 1st choice.

    Don’t ask on here they tell you Kirk apter etc are the new best thing then within the month change their mind. Just goes to show that scouts and managers think I like what I see and sometimes it just doesn’t click or the player for whatever reason can’t deliver.  It’s a tough gig and not all pay off.

    Don’t compare Kirk and Apter .  Apter had some good games but didn’t suit the system. Kirk was horrendous
