    What a result!! - Seems Malaysia is going to host a GP in October to replace the cancelled Bahrain GP
    Going to be great to see Sepang back

    Seen some people moaning that it'll be rubbish because of the superclipping , I didn't think the straights at Sepang were  long enough for that to be a problem. 

    Just glad to have it back on the calendar because it always produced good racing.

    Dont know what the weather is like in Malaysia in October, but rain always makes it a fun factor too

    Finally first win in F3 for Freddie Slater. F3 driving standards are abysmal this season tho.

    Ugo and Freddie are just a level above everyone else
    You cant see anyone else challenging those two for the title now, but disappointed with how Ugo was on the podium - Get the disappointment, but almost felt like Verstappen / Saudi behaviour in 2021.

    Dunno... Slater is so strong at Monza given his record, but Campos are by far the quicker car
    Ugo needs to sort his Qualifying though

    And by all accounts Sainz is extending too at 30m a season which is wild.

    Do Williams really have anyone else to turn to? - Not many of the F2 Grid are that impressive of late, even those currently acting as Reserve Driver like Aron or Vesti... then you've got their older Academy kids like Browning and Zak O'Sullivan (he's not part of the programme any more) really made the grade and are very average in Super Formula.
    Still think that Nakamura-Berta will be their next true option... Either that or Hoogendoorn who is just getting into cars
    Unless they turn to Ocon / Perez, who you have to wonder is any better either.

    I think both sides are Catch 22ed. Williams have no better options and Albon and Sainz don't have any obvious spots to move to that are a definite upgrade on Williams.

    And now that's locked down long term , no reason to get rid of a well funded Bortoleto and Hulkenberg will be replaced by Freddie Slater for 28'

    Sainz really does idolise Alonso with bad career decisions.

    Yeah I never saw those Sainz to Audi rumours as being realistic what with Bortoleto / Slater always looking the line-up for 2028. Unless the plan was for Sainz to show up at Audi in 2027 (in place of Nico), blow Gabi out of the water who becomes the one to make way for Freddie instead.

    I really like Gabi , few less mistakes and he'd get consistent points. Won the title against the strongest F2 field in recent years in terms of driver talent . Having very strong financial backing helps too.
