JRC looking rusty, Mwamba far more involved and composed

I mean Challobah looks class on and off the ball. Takes up good positions and breaks up play. The opposition should be too easy for him, and they are too easy for him--which is a good sign.

It’s Carey and Fullah has joined them too. Tanto, Knibbs and Chalobah off

Wonder if we could do a 6 month contract maybe? Depends if he’d rather drop to league 1 for a full year deal

Would expect Danny Cowley is desperate for Gough or Mwamba off of this. Doubt he'll get them but I suspect one of the 21s will end up there
Let him have Enslin, he could thrive in this system
Or Josh Laq thinking of it
Enslin and Laq were playing 6th tier football last year Colchester won’t take them
Alfie Doughty went from playing National League to Championship in the space of a week and didn't look out of place. Young players can often impress if given the chance
Stepping up two lower tiers is not so unusual at that age. It is not like the gap between League Two and the Championship.

Maybe, but I think at a certain point you just need to take the plunge and give him a year. I feel like 6 month deals are more common right at the end of the window/after the window closes.

I know if he signs for us he will spend time, probably significant time, out injured. But he's a player I've watched a lot going back to his England youth days and on his day he is very, very good for this level.

TC needs to do that more too. If he shot like that 3 or 4 times a game he might actually score a few goals.

Out of possession the idea seems to be that the 10 pushes up and we press in a 442 shape

Yeah or even a 4-1-3-2 with the holding midfielder sitting a little deeper.

Not wanting to start a pile on, but Leaburn looks a yard off it tonight.

More than a yard I’d say, not doing himself any favours so far

His touch has been poor but no lack of effort. Carey looks knackered despite only just coming on. Wonder if they did a session earlier

We've been a bit unbalanced tonight, as we've had so much more quality down the left than down the right.

A striker that's on it scores from that TC driven cross. Leaburn is on his heels yet again

How can Leaburn have that long legs and never get on the end of anything 😂

Godden would have scored from that TC cross.

Would have liked to of seen TC starting there. Sure it would of been Alli if signed earlier

    Bell and McNamara on.

No Jones because we don't want to injure him before selling him to Wolves
