Is he expecting TC to leave? If we've signed Grant and Alli as wingers, yet want competition for Apter on the right, where does that leave TC?

"When we let Rob go on loan last season, we only had one player that can go one-v-one in TC [Tyreece Campbell]."

"Now we have him, we have Karlan Grant, we have Rob Apter, we have Millenic Alli and we are looking at bringing in another one as well. We are going to have five one-v-one options which is what we need.”

Campbell - Grant - Apter - Alli - One More

I would say last year TC taking on and winning a one-v-one was rarer than hen's teeth, same with Apter, so let's see where we go next year...
TC beat his fullback more often than not, he just didn’t do anything with the ball after that.

    Did he ……..
    Don't get Ronnie started.

If Ronnie was manager, TC would never have been given a pro contract let alone a 1st team debut.

TC would have ended up playing for Welling Utd or whatever - and being signed by Millwall for £6mil :p

    A bit like Corey Blackett-Taylor.

CBT was better than TC , albeit less reliable fitness wise

Getting Kayne, TC and Lloyd Jones signed up would be outstanding business. I think we all noticed he said we've received no bids for TC or Kayne, meaning we have for Lloyd.

Jones confirming that nothing imminent in terms of Ramsay, Jones & TC leaving and that we very much want to tie all 3 down to new deals, saying "Hopefully we will have some news very soon" 🤞
    Where was this said?

Also had confirmation Kanu is up for 1M

If you read cawleys substack I think that might be a result of the way the question was put to NJ

I get it TC was played out of position last year, but that doesn't mean he'd automatically be fantastic if he was played at left wing - he's still very much unproven.

Better in attack, but worse defensively.

Almost as outrageous as your first comment. If CBT ran even half as much off the ball as TC does then his hamstring would pop

He was better than TC when we had them both in league 1. TC is better now than that version of CBT.

CBT has never cut it in the championship, and was pretty much useless out of possession. It’s no surprise Jones was happy to get rid and that he’s never been able to get games at championship level

I don't get the hate towards TC, but some people are properly overrating him at the minute.
I think TC will look a lot better playing wide and with another wide man that’s able to take on their full back. Will make it a lot harder for teams to target him. Same reason I think Kelman will hit double figures this season - We’ll make more chances this season.

    Interesting information tonight @21cws

Have you heard anything about new contracts for the likes of Jones, TC and Ramsay at all?

    Ta
Nothing about contracts at the minute, if I do will share. Do know we would let TK go but no fucker wants him
    Who is TK?
    Toni Kroos?

Was Chalobah really on £20k a week at Wednesday? It would be a huge risk looking at his injury record over the last two seasons.

    Edit
“Legs like biscuits” was the verdict of one Wednesday fan about Chalobah last night.
Biscuits are a good thing, so I take that as a positive.
Guess depends what we're talking? A rich tea would not be structurally sound on a wet Tuesday in Stoke. A hob nob though is rock solid!!

I’m not saying TCs cracked the championship at all but he’s at least played a full season for a championship team and contributed to that team. CBT has literally done nothing anytime he’s been in the championship and then been shipped back to league 1. If TC left us this summer he wouldn’t be going back to play in league 1
