    I enjoyed The Ghost of John White and recommend it. But it ends on Sunday as the play is going to the Edinburgh festival. Met the writer/producer plus the actor after the show. It’s mainly for Spurs and Scottish fans due to his association with them. @JohnBoyUK

    Going to see Jesus Christ Superstar next week with Sam Ryder. Slightly disappointed Boy George has pulled out as playing Herod as I choose this date specifically to see him 

    I am a big fan of this rock opera , it is in my view by far the best score Andrew Lloyd Webber ever wrote and Tim Rice manages to present the last days of Christ in a human and respectful way. Every time I have seen I gain a new insight.

    Has anyone seen it. It feels like Sam Ryder is inspired casting.

    Having read the book, Charlton were going to sign him, but wasn't prepared to meet the price that Falkirk wanted.
    He was my late FIL dad's cousin and my FIL was the spit of John White.

    Went to see Cyrano de Bergerac last night, got half price tickets from London Theatre Direct last week. Superb play, well acted, great lighting and Adrian Lester is unbelievable, hard to believe he’s only three years younger than me! It’s only on for a few more weeks, get to see it if you can.

    Very enjoyable and nostalgic fun.

    Going to see The Comedy About Spies for the second time on Friday. Got cheap tickets through the London Theatre Week offers.

    Shamilton at The Other Palace in a couple of weeks. Improvised hip-hop musical by some of the people who do the US version of Whose Line is it Anyway. 

    Beetlejuice at the end of September and then Reece Shearsmiths spoken word book event in October.

    Great slapstick fun. Recommend for a good laugh / easy watch.

    Seen the original cast perform both The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong and the physical theatre/slapstick/choreography, especially in PP, is unlike anything we've seen anywhere before or since.
    PP was on tour so the stunts were all carried out on a relatively unfamiliar stage so the jeopardy must have been huge.
    Safe to say our hopes are high indeed.

    My daughter and I are massive Mischief Theatre fans. We saw Spies right at the beginning of the original run and both agreed it was potentially our favourite thing that they had done. It is great. Loads of original Mischief Theatre members in the cast as well.

    Saw ‘How the other half loves’ at The Old Vic today. It stars Roger Allam. 

    A good old fashioned farce. 

    Very enjoyable.

    One of the best things I've seen for some time, with a brilliant comic performance from Roger Allam.

    We saw Sinatra The Musical at The Aldwych Theatre.
    It tells the life story of his earlier adult years, up to the early 70's and a lot about his famous actress girlfriends and wives.
    It was very good and I recommend.

    Saw Beetlejuice last night. Quite enjoyable mash up of both films.

    Bit disappointed that we didn’t see Wolfie from the Inbetweeners in the lead as it was his night off.

    Solid 7/10

    Much better than the Chuka Khan musical,  which we've also seen quite recently and found quite disappointing,  not much of a story to tell,  but the music was OK.

    Yes, I got dragged to the Chaka Khan musical.
    Thoroughly depressing unless you like 2 hours of drug and domestic abuse.
    I never really had an opinion of Chaka Khan, but I do now and it isn't a good one.
    Most strange production.

    Saw that recently, a lot of back story I wasn’t aware of. Definitely recommend.

    Went to the opera last night, Don Giovanni, was OK, wasn't familiar with the plot but there were lots of famous Mozart opera bits (are they called aria?) was a shame a couple of key cast members did not have as strong a voice as the others.
