Yeah fair. I more meant is that a new change and that's why it's causing clubs problems. Eg in Killers post he was saying the cap was delaying transfers this year, I was wondering why that is.Crispywood said:

From a quick chat gpt it sounds like no, it's not new but maybe combined with the new SCR rules there is more chat generally about trimming the squad0 -

So what's the difference with Batth and Nathan Redmond? There were several mattresses that had significant additional moisture over signing Grant; an experienced Champ player.
Intrigued as to what makes the opinion change other than the fact that any player we get will automatically become Charltonised?!11 -

My fear is it’s based on a optimistic rise in revenue, something we’ve not been good at increasing in recent times, the latest shirt sponsorship is a good example.AberystwythAddick said:

We’ve spent nearly 2 months chasing him, may be a little pathetic but have to ride it out if we think he’s the player to change this team. My take from yesterday’s game was that some of them knew they might be moving on this week. I’m prepared to believe I’m wrong but I would have thought some would have been trying to impress to get picked in two weeks.

I do think, with all the negativity, we are a still couple of experienced centre mids and one striker (signed or loaned) from being an ok champs team. Id include dykes and coady loan in that three as well. Im sure youd all agree 🤭😂2

Will be a great weight in his shoulders. He's not played in the EFL as all his game time has been abroad. So the old question still stands......can he do it on a cold evening in Middlesbrough.AndyG said:
