  • Bigger questions need answering, rather than who'll play Right-Wing!!!
I mean who the hell do we make scapegoat every week now? - Bloomin' selfish of TC to do this on the eve of a new season!!
Kaminski is warming up as we speak

Maybe Nick Pope is coming home?
    We can only pray 🙏
He'll be off to one of the big boys to be the token English keeper for the European squad rules

If you told everyone we'd go from:

    TC
    Fevrier
    Olaofe
    Apter

    To

    Grant
    Alli
    Apter
    Kamara/JRS/someone else

From the end of last season to the start of this, would you have taken it?

On paper, it's stronger and more balanced, and more suited to the shape we seem to be moving to.

Need that final winger to be a good addition though

    Yes

Trevoh Chalobah going Como we got his brother.

Don't think we had a choice of Chalobahs so not surprising he isn't coming here..
Once had an ex with a nice pair of chalobah's
  • I’d still quite like us to pick up Jamie Allen on a free , he acts as a good link-up to the forwards and could be what we need. Attacking down the wings is predictable as is the hoof it up to Miles

Only concern there would be has he been doing a pre-season anywhere? Can’t be signing players now that won’t be fit to properly play for another month

Well that's not a "he's not going" from Cawley so it appears he's on his way
    It's not a " he's going" either.

It is a carefully worded non-commital statement only saying what is possible, not what is likely or inevitable.

As ever, far too much leaping to conclusions on this thread.

Harry Clarke off to Stoke for £3.5m. Think that’s quite a lot of money for him tbh
In the grand scheme of the championship it’s not.

He was a pretty reliable player
  • Ipswich have done very well there

Stoke lobbing money around like it’s going out of fashion.

That is too much for him I agree

Only a year left on his deal though. Stoke are throwing money about this summer though so you’re right it’s not much to them

We know their ways all too well. Happy to see others getting the brunt of it

    Jade Goody RIP
    Another corker was East Angular.

Wouldn't have paid that, think Ipswich have done very well to get that.
  • If I was a Stoke fan, top 6 would be the minimum for me after the ridiculous amount of money spent

They will inevitably finish in the bottom half as they do every season. Think Robins will get sacked at some point this season as will be under a lot of pressure to deliver

    Agreed. Definition of mediocrity

I’m staying up North tonight for work, and have just driven past TC on the inside lane of the M6 at Chorley.

looked like he had Rak-Sakyi and Holsgrove with him in his Fiat 500.

hopefully just off shopping and nothing more serious.
Heading to the National Railway Museum together before the season starts and there’s no spare time for hobbies.
  • That deal puts into perspective TC’s value. Both have one year left, TC is three years younger, has a better injury record, a similar amount of appearances (Clarke has more in the Championship but also more in L2) and is an international player
  • NabySarr said:
So what’s everyone doing with their last half an hour of TC? I’m spending it with family

On repeat while tears stream down my face

I’m quite a big fan of Buble (seen in concert 5 times) but he’s never reduced me to tears…
  • It’s gone 6, I wanna refund on my dose of nonsense

I've driven 267 miles today covering Manchester and Liverpool airports. Where do I send my petrol and food expenses too?

    It’s never stopped us before.

About £3.2m more than he’s worth
