    The question is; what does this mean for the remainder of the transfer window. Are we still keeping our powder dry looking to spend or will those targets now turn to loans.

    Might explain why we are happy for TC to move on. Probably told Jones if he wants to spend a few million on a midfielder then he needs to make a few million by selling someone

    This club is genuinely mental. We’ve been lulled into thinking the money was being held back all summer for a powerhouse CM that is so desperately needed…and instead TC is going to Preston and we are officially up for sale. It’s torture most of the time, but there is no club in the world I’d rather support

    Balancing act. Unlikely any sale would conclude much before the seasons end. Being rock bottom and back down amongst the dead men in league one looming won’t increase the value or likelihood of a sale. Don’t see how the current owners can allow us to start the season as is. We have a relegation fight well and truly on our hands if some decent money isn’t spent now.
