He’s a good guy but if you want to play this different style he has to go. That doesn’t apply to Cov or JRC who are both much better footballers.
JRC should have been jettisoned this summer.

The biggest failing this window hasn’t so much been who has come in (though that hasn’t been enough). The biggest issue has been not getting rid of enough dead wood, also a big part of “player trading” as that would have created the headroom for more ambitious incomings.

Imagine if we sold Kaminski. It would top last summers transfer business
U really are an odd fella
Lighten up. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment. I genuinely think Kaminski is a limited goalkeeper, and I'm certainly not the only one who holds that opinion. You don't have to agree with me, but there's really no need for the personal attacks.
Maybe a heads then. All your posts come across as trolling, maybe you’re trying to be funny, but it isn’t.
Fair enough, you don't have to find my humour funny. That's entirely your prerogative.
I find some of your posts well funny mate. Keep them coming.

This thread needs GTJs* like me and you to keep things ticking.

Still have a few weeks of the window and some outgoings like Kaminski was never going to be feasible. As long as we can get 4 senior players out to make room for the 2 new signings I feel like we would have done well

Doc is worth keeping this year as the 4th or 5th option. Yes we are trying to evolve as a team and yes if he’s playing more than 20 odd games we’ll likely be at the wrong end of the table but when it gets to the depths of January and we need a willing runner to help us grind out a result or two, we’ll be wishing we kept him around.
Not sure Doc would be happy with you’re evaluation of him being 4th choice at best😬 bet he’d be well chuffed to know the fans are behind him😂

Got to have a replacement lined up before we let him go, can’t be in the same situation as 2 years ago when we were looking for a GK all summer and kept missing out on targets.

Yeah I'd hope we have a target done to allow this to then happen. Don't think there's any interesting free agents out there that would be a bonafide No1

If it happens late in the window we might be able to pick up someone decent on loan like Vitek who was on loan at Bristol last year from man U then gives us some time to get a full time replacement in down the road.

As a championship club opposed to L1 surely there’s attractive options for loan keepers. Could be some gems like the next vitek
  • Info from few ITKs over the last year have said Wickens is very much liked by us wonder if he is one we could go in for if this happens

There's plenty of prem teams with bloated squads who are going to have to loan or sell players. A decent keeper should be possible, Mannion as back up.

Vitek has already gone Boro. I wouldn’t like to lose Kaminski this late in the window unless we have an amazing replacement lined up. Sometimes it’s better the devil you know.

I think that applies to the slightly dodgy but ok 3* hotel in Benidorm, not to really terrible goalkeepers

Wickens has very recently signed a new contract with Lincoln until 2030 I believe

Would be good but he’s got two* years to run on his contract with Lincoln and he won’t be cheap being sold to a rival.

Edit: * just signed for another 3 years with a further option of 1year

Kaminski isn’t TERRIBLE, he just has some faults. Imagine we panic and the best we can get in is another of Lillian Thurman’s cousins…

As long as he wears boots on his hands and gloves on his feet, which was Thuram’s downfall, he’ll be fine 😉.

I think he's definitely been mentioned in the past. I'd personally be happy with that.

I hope it’s true but there’s no way we’d let him go without a replacement. Would we ?

    https://www.weareimps.com/news/imps-secure-moylan-future-new-contract

Moylan signed a new Lincoln contract in March and recently signed for Cardiff.

Whether they’d let another key player go is another question though.

Might even have a release clause in his contract limiting the fee that would be needed.

    Keeper upgrade
    TK out
    New CM
    Rak Sakyi
    Keep TC
Apter and Asimwe out on loan
    Striker in on loan
    loan out DK

Then that would be a successful window

Previously worked with Nathan Jones at both Brighton and Luton.

Has Okonkwo moved yet? He was great against us last season.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a keeper from abroad join us! Seems to be the approach for important positions.

Still leaves you 2 players over the max squad allowance and can’t loan out Kanu with 1 year left on his deal.
