    Mannion is definitely better than Kaminski and given the chance, will continue to improve.
    Kaminski will only get worse and cost us more goals/games if we stick with him.

    Mannion is definitely not the answer - too error prone. Neither should be No 1.

    Mannion is 28 doubt he’s classified as someone who can develop unlike the whole reason we brought in brooks who is 24.

    The Mannion/Kaminski debate is basically deciding what is better out of 2 poor options. We’re basically waiting until Kaminski contract expires or we find someone silly enough to take him off us and then we will upgrade. Don’t feel safe with either in goal

    I'm not saying that Mannion is definitely the answer, although, given a proper chance, he might be.
    I am saying though that he is definitely better than Kaminski, who certainly isn't the answer.

    I am saying though that he is definitely better than Kaminski, who certainly isn't the answer.
    Mannion played 9 games last season, errors for the goals at Wednesday and Bristol City and I’d argue a proper championship No.1 could have done better for the Wrexham and Norwich goals although not as clear cut. Costing a goal 1 in every 3 games is abysmal. 

    Kaminski equally has made some howlers but it’s the thing when one drops a stinker it makes the other keeper look so much better than they actually are

    He's not "definitely better" he had one great game against Watford and then dropped 2 clangers in a row in a crucial part of the season. They're both not quite good enough in reality, but Kaminski was the number 1 choice at the start of the season when we were a lot better at the back and ended up contributing to many clean sheets. He also gets a slightly unfair rap because he's a high earner for us, though if you took his wage and compared it to the wider championship he's still in the lower half of earners when it comes to keepers

    Oh and everyone talks about Mannion like he's some teenage sensation, he's 28, not 22, there isn't a huge amount of growth coming from him as a player

    He's a 28 year with relatively few games under his belt. He can still improve and given the chance, he will.

    He's played over 100 senior games! He definitely can improve but not to the levels some seem to think, he looks pretty close to his ceiling to me

    Good god you're right, I was convinced we'd given Kaminski a two year deal and that we'd let him go next Summer and buy a proper upgrade. That's not ideal.

    His wage is also massively overinflated by our fans. The foreign reporter that broke the story that we were signing him instead of a foreign club said our offer was £12.5k per week, would guess that’s a lot closer to the truth than a lot of the numbers our fans throw around 

    Neither are good enough but I think Kaminski is the right choice to start the season

    I think Kaminski is better than Mannion, but if someone is seriously interested in taking his salary off our hands then I would be very keen to do it. Hope we have someone lined up to come in though !

    Agreed on both counts - Kaminski is maybe not the best option, but perhaps the less bad. If we could have another, better option to come in I would happily see either keeper go.

    Has anyone seen Brooks play? Is there any hope he could potentially be our number 1 or is he just going to be a backup at best?
