    If he was anywhere near Brussels, Rotterdam is around 90 miles away.  People would probably be surprised on how many players do a commute in football.

    East Flanders, so even closer than Brussels. Although he may have moved his family over here now considering how long he's been playing in England.

    Surprised how quickly his career seemed to go off the rails. From potential England #1 to can't get a game at Southampton. Obviously on loan at Newcastle last year, but I mean this year with the Bayern keeper signing for Soton.

    Apparently Torino were in for him earlier in the summer but nothing seemed to come of it.

    Grateful for all Will did in our promotion season but if he's our number 1 this season, we could have prime Pirlo in midfield and we would still be relegated. 

    If Kaminski has decided to move on than fair enough, but if we are shipping him out to run out Mannion or some untested premier league youth player then I'd be extremely concerned.
    With two central defenders instead of three the pressure is on the goalie to claim more crosses. Whichever of the two can step up to that will do.
    Against Cheltenham Mannion stood on his line when the corner came in. That won't do.

    Regardless of whether or not Kaminski leaves or not we’ll be starting with either him or Mannion on Saturday. If it’s Mannion then I think there must be legs in the Sparta link.

    Biggest complaint from Wrexham fans seems to be he is widely erratic.  Prone to make some incredibly poor decisions in certain matches but then make immense saves at other points in time.

     Neither keeper is bad. Both are adequate. 

    The issue was / is we are told Kaminski is on big money and we simply don’t see that he gives significant value over and above Mannion. 

    Those saying any savings need to be spent on better contracts for TC and KR miss the point that we struggled with our squad last year. We need more improvements to the squad not just maintaining it - the additions so far likely won’t be enough. 

    Commercial reality says we will cash in on some before the window shuts.

    This is a really good point to be fair. With the three cb’s commanding the box a keeper who stayed on his line was fine. But with one less defender, a more athletic, box covering keeper would be better. 

    I have to admit, I’d be impressed with the club if they managed to upgrade the keeper as it definitely wasn’t one that I thought we were seriously weak in. (Unlike fb’s, cm’s and wingers)

    Less than two hour drive from where he was born to Rotterdam. Probably takes NJ two hours from New Eltham to Sandbanks.

    Carson was good, but if you look at some other loan keepers we have had in recent years, they've also done pretty well. Jed Steer, Ben Amos and Declan Rudd all did well.

    I feel we have picked up some truly shocking goalkeepers on permanents by comparison the last decade. 

    I would much rather loan a Prem goalie. The clubs are more willing to send them out as they know they may play every game and it's the easiest position to replace the following season imo.

    I appreciate that, I was responding on the basis if he moved to Rotterdam and the possibility of moving back to where he comes from in Belgium.

    Dave Hickson of Everton can vouch for that after Willie laid him out at the Valley in a cup tie January 1959. He took his green jersey off and headed for the dressing room before the ref had time to get his notebook out 👊.

    Easy to forget that goalkeepers make one bad mistake they usually concede a goal as the last line of defence. If our keepers are staying on their line when they should be dominating the area are they doing as instructed. If not what the hell is the defensive coach doing to earn a living?
