Yes, Keith was the interim. It must have been a proud day for him.Marriott110 said:
Was after the Slater Jiminez takeover and they’d sacked Parky but yet to appoint Powell so Peacock took spurs away and then Powell came in I thinkcharltonbob said:

Scott Wagstaff was our only player with the pace to get anywhere near Modric. Keith Peacock was manager that day. I was there too.EastStand said:
Was at that one. We were doing alright till they brought modric on at half time, then they mullered us.soapboxsam said:Charlton's last visit to Spurs was in the FA cup 3rd round when Tottenham won 3-0 on 9/1/11.
Over 15 years !
A young Andros Townsend played very well that day. 15 years later Modric played for Croatia at the World Cup, while Townsend commentated on it for ITV

Spurs supporters are knowledgeable.
low-men-yellow-coats•4h agoI fucking hate Charlton. I hope we spank them.
3stuffcrow•4h agoHahaha seems random; any particular reason?

low-men-yellow-coats•4h agoThe seem to have a large far right presence

99Corolla4Life•3h agoAre Charlton just as bad as Millwall (or worse)?
1[deleted]•4h agojohnson-again•4h agoAnyone know when tickets are set to go on sale to Hotspur+ members?
1
billbrasky21•4h agoActually shocked to get a home draw
1Yzelski•3h ago10 upvotes1
Cookielad14•3h agoBeing a couple of hours away by train, hopefully get a ticket to this one.
1Amazing_Attorney8929•3h agoChances of tickets being available on general sale?
1JamesCDiamond•3h agoI'd expect it. Small team, early in the season, midweek - all the makings of cheap tickets, too.
2CommercialPlastic604•3h agoDecent chance
1Mikeymcmoose•3h agoNice, lower league London derby
1
coldseam•3h agoGonna be the most boring 1-0 win in history if De Zerbi doesn't get his forwards
1ewan12224•3h agoThis is fake we aren’t playing a top 10 premier league team away.
1Klingh0ffer•2h agoIs this some joke I don’t get, or do you need to look at the picture one more time?
11 more replydanlindsay90•2h agoPlaying Saturday and now Monday. Brilliant.

DriverNew7208•2h agoWeek commencing. It'll be midweek
21 more replykirobaito88•2h agoWe can actually start a back 6 of Robertson, Senesi, Danso, Spence, with Gray and Bentancur in front of them and be using all backups.

ChiefGritty•4h agoWhat is an "Addick"?
0wokwok__•4h agoJust looked it up and apparently a fishmonger used to reward them with haddock and chips, the South London accent made it sound like Addick so that became their nickname lol

Are you really counting this as a new ground ? They haven't moved anywhere just expanded the footprint. They are still in White Hart Lane.Stewart said:
Same West Ham (had a season ticket for 1 and a half seasons there) Cardiff ( been to the old ground 2) and Tottenham (been to the old ground 7 times.guinnessaddick said:
Same here, including Cardiff, brings me up to 85.Stewart said:In the space of 29 days I have 3 new ticks, which is ridiculous when I’ve done 84 of the 92 grounds.
If we built a new ground by expanding into the car park and made it a 60,000 seat stadium would you call it a new ground ? Of course not.3 -

so if you move down the road into a new house, because it's on the same street, you haven't moved house?

With about ten balls left in the pot I said "Spurs away" to the missus. It's two family derbies in a week - mum was a Hammer, dad a spud.0
-
I would imagine Spurs will give us as many tickets as they can as they are unlikely to fill the ground with their own fans for a second round Carabao cup game, Unless they are scared of us.0

Yes it's on the same site but it's clearly a new stadium. Their old one was 36k, this is 62k.golfaddick said:

They haven't expanded their old stadium, they built a totally new one. I'm pretty sure that even Spurs' own fans count it as a new stadium.1 -
Just thinking of London derbies. Two years ago it was just Orient. This calendar year alone we'll have Chelsea, Millwall, QPR, West Ham, Spurs, QPR, Millwall.5

Looks like a fancy extension to me 😄sam3110 said:golfaddick said:

Thanks Sam for the house analogy.
I understand now !1 -
It would be an extension if any of the old stadium was still there.golfaddick said:
