I changed the Tottenham mate in reaction to the Hotspurs being called out. Thought it was funny, others can judge 🤣

Does gate money get split in the EFL Cup or is it primarily with the home team?
According to ChatGPT, 45% each. Should be worth about £500k to us, nice budget booster early in season

    Plus TV money?
If so, AI tells me that Round 2 teams get 100k each if televised.

The peterboro owner was on talksport yesterday day time and said the best draw for him would be Chelsea or Tottenham away. I’m sure he said it would be worth around £700k.

    Spurs supporters are knowledgeable.

I fucking hate Charlton. I hope we spank them.

Hahaha seems random; any particular reason?

    2

The seem to have a large far right presence

    3

No way o.o genuinely had no idea. Will have to look more into this, cheers for the heads up.

    1

Are Charlton just as bad as Millwall (or worse)?

Anyone know when tickets are set to go on sale to Hotspur+ members?

    1

Actually shocked to get a home draw

Being a couple of hours away by train, hopefully get a ticket to this one.

    1

Chances of tickets being available on general sale?

    1

I'd expect it. Small team, early in the season, midweek - all the makings of cheap tickets, too.

    2

    Nice, lower league London derby

Gonna be the most boring 1-0 win in history if De Zerbi doesn't get his forwards

    1

This is fake we aren’t playing a top 10 premier league team away.

    1

Is this some joke I don’t get, or do you need to look at the picture one more time?

We can actually start a back 6 of Robertson, Senesi, Danso, Spence, with Gray and Bentancur in front of them and be using all backups.

    What is an "Addick"?

Just looked it up and apparently a fishmonger used to reward them with haddock and chips, the South London accent made it sound like Addick so that became their nickname lol

Luckily the match is not at the Valley as that would mean they would have to travel south of the river which would worry them!

Never forget when I saw Charlton play at White Hart lane against the eventual double winning side,1961,we really gave them a fright, lost 3-2 but hit the post near the end,Maurice Norman pulled back one of our players when clean through, clear red card today but just a free kick then.A great performance against Mackay and his mates.

The fact they've chosen to show 2 Northern section games is weird, other than being 2 prem teams playing, Forest Vs Leeds isn't exactly a barnstorming clash

The Brian Clough derby ( but not Derby)
  • The vast majority of games will be on the Tuesday. 5 or 6 games on the Wednesday to give some variety to the red button.

Spurs announced tickets £25 adults, £10 Juniors so imagine that's what we will pay. No confirmed away allocation.

Such a poxy place to get too, thinking driving might be better from bexleyheath and park on someone’s drive through an app.

Assume we’ll have our tickets on sale fairly soon if Spurs have theirs on sale (and there’s only two weeks until the match).
  • Slightly odd to see ticket pricing details confirmed before we even know the date

That would be a good idea, also there are plenty of industrial units and other companies accepting cars.  Expect to pay around £25 for the privilege.
