The live chat on that channel shows how moronic some people can be.
First thing I do on any live stream is turn the chat off!

Let's hope it doesn't end up like Day of The Triffids. Only 7 minutes to go until it starts here.

It's been a long hot summer
    Let's get undercover

Here in London, most impressive even though it only 90%. The Paraquetes all heading to their roosts, just like sun set.

Watched it from Hyde park and some little chap lent me his glasses for a little bit. Pretty sick.
  • I was surprised by how light it was with 90% of the sun covered.

Still quite an impressive spectacle and I even managed to borrow eclipse glasses from somebody at work!

    That was massively underwhelming

That was my favourite bit. The parakeets all of a sudden realizing it was time to get home was great.

Saw a better one when Hasselbaink bent down to check his laces in a match at The Valley!

Bit odd really - they were showing it nearly fully eclipsed from Greenwich observatory as I was looking at it fully blazing - reckon the firm selling the viewing glasses are linked to the PPE scandal and met office

I'd say a nice example of "Old English Brickwork"...🤔

I got a welding glass to view it. My neighbour told me I shouldn’t use it while he struggled with his kitchen utensils. I tried to tell him the glass is specked for arc welds but he didn’t want to look.
It looked just as I thought it would and that’s probably the best I’ll ever see an eclipse. Doubt I’ll live another 60 years.

Even with 99.5% blocked, the photos from my phone were still quite disappointing. Watching through the glasses was really good though.

I’ll probably miss it which is a shame .  I go into Addenbrooks hospital today for a few weeks .
Just like to give a fellow Addick my very best wishes.

Hmmm, definately not a sand faced fletton, but a marvellous old red stock brick, fascinating... Anything important happening btw?

So when's it happening? Oh it's passed already??How very inconsequential yet passed off as headline news by so many so called media outlets.

Yep - am in Portugal and not sure I’d have noticed anything if the missus hadn’t mentioned anything

    That was rubbish.

It was still really light here in Essex.

The trees in my garden was still in sunlight the whole time.

The sky didn’t even seem to darken.
