my view is there isn’t a lot between Okonkwo and Wickens. Both have strengths and both have weaknesses. I’d like to regard both as an upgrade since they are only 24 and have huge upside potential.
if JRS is an option we have to pursue it. His best season was here, he badly needs regular football and some form and if we could pick him up for a few million there is no reason he couldn’t be worth 2x or 3x thst in a short space of time. He just need to hit some form and get his swagger back. Importantly this could also play a part in TC signing a new contract and might even bring out the best in both.Exciting prospects all round. If this all happened I would be mightily impressed with the window

Yeah I'd be worried in the new shape that JRS's lack of workrate would leave us horribly overloaded on McNamaras side. But he’s clearly going to rotate the wingers, even during matches. They’ll all bring something slightly different so I’d assume it won’t be a problem.MarcusH26 said:

If we sell Kaminski, Asiimwe, one of Doc/Rakin-Costello, Apter, and Kanu and bring in Okonkwo and Rak-Sakyi with Ramsay, Jones and Campbell all signing new contracts, I think the window would have to be classed as close to a 10/10 as possible.
That is what I hope for anyway.

Just wanna quickly say that Kaminski took the death of his father very hard, amd I feel might not therefore be the player we thought we signed.
If a move is a good change of pace I wish him the very best and hope he can thus move on how he needs to mentally. Just as some players might not be the same after an ACL, grief can change someone for a while, and during the career of a footballer - which is short anyway - that impact is amplified. Look at how Messi said he doesn't know how long he will continue for after the death of his father Jorge (RIP).
In any case - whatever happens happens.45 -

People talk as if JRS plays like MLS era Messi without the ball. I know NJ demands more of his players but I don’t recall JRS being just a total luxury player when he was here before. I have no idea if there’s any possibility of him coming back, or if he’s even actually that great anymore, but I don’t think it’s impossible that NJ would accommodate him and coach him if JRS shows a commitment to develop that side of his game. Signing players of his ilk, and having other players good enough at this level to do some of his running, is going to have to be part of our “evolution”.10
