If a move is a good change of pace I wish him the very best and hope he can thus move on how he needs to mentally. Just as some players might not be the same after an ACL, grief can change someone for a while, and during the career of a footballer - which is short anyway - that impact is amplified. Look at how Messi said he doesn't know how long he will continue for after the death of his father Jorge (RIP).
In any case - whatever happens happens.
I wondered if there might be family reasons for wanting a move. Hopefully all can be resolved in as best aways as possible for all parties.1 -

Excited to see what tomorrow brings.Personally, I try to focus on a player’s profile and how it fits with what we need, rather than place too much stock in what a player did at their last club (I’ve seen too many exciting signings flop and too many underwhelming signings over-perform) so I’m fairly happy with what we’ve done in the circumstances of our budget and I think we look stronger and better balanced than we did 12 months ago. I’m hopeful for what it might deliver us, but there’s something to prove for almost all of them so 10 out of 10 might be a bit strong.3 -
Agree slightly, but Wrexham do like to play the ‘Peterborough’ way and win games 4-3 instead of 1-0.
