If true, and we’re potentially going to be bringing in Rak Sakyi as well as Okonkwo to finalise this window, then I think the club deserves huge, huge credit.Smart signings all across the pitch, strengthening the defence with Koumetio, Mesik and McNamara, addressing the creativity and energy in midfield with Chalobah and Ouma, and potentially bolstering our attack with the likes of Rak Sakyi, Alli, and Grant. We’d be a completely different outfit in comparison to last season and I think that in itself deserves huge credit. We’ve got a mix of pace, power and experience, three things which are vital in this league and three things that we seemed to lack for large parts of last season.That’s not even to mention getting Lloydy to sign a contract extension, which in my opinion was the most important one of those out of contract. I’d be happy to see Ramsay and even TC sign on, just to give us even more depth and competition for places.
I was dreading the start of the season a few weeks back, but it really seems to be clicking and coming together now.7 -

Did I imagine this but did Nathan Jones say the transfer would “transform us” ? That’s quite a statement if indeed he said it at all. Would that be JRS ? Hasn’t really transformed anyone since he left us.1

I’d welcome back JRS because on his day he’s some player. Personally I hope it’s Cowatt. Much more of an all rounder and I believe he’ll have more of a resale than JRS. JRS hasn’t done much on his loans and Stoke who have been spending obviously don’t fancy him on a permanent.
His Stoke stats last season are 15 appearances. 2 goals, 0 assists, 3 yellows. I’d have expected a lot more assists than that.2 -
