    Goalhanger...
  • Sorry guys - it’s not JRS. The car belongs to someone involved with the women’s team
Day ruined. Weekend ruined. Life ruined.

  • There’s no way he could get in that car
  • Wouldn’t want anyone who drives a French car anyway 😉

    Anything else for today sir
  • Hahaha cue the calls that we’re paying the women too much.

  • His Mrs signing for Charlton Women?

Think JRS would be a very good signing.
He hasn’t torn it up since leaving but he was quality for us. A former player of the year and as the cliche goes, sometimes a player and a club just work.
The valley inspires good players - I was outstanding (in my own mind at least ) when I played there in 92 - was useless about 5 years ago 🤷‍♂️

Has links at the club, Preston's training ground and the dvla, incredible
  • So it’s not JRS and probably not Cowatt.
  • StJohnsHill is the Illuminati

Thanks Gav - can u tell them to be more considerate next time - we’re in full transfer rumour mode here, this is no time for the women’s team to be confusing matters
  • Quote from Dean Holden on Rak-Sakyi: “It sounds ridiculous but he drives a really old car – he’s not interested in the flashings of being a professional footballer”
  • We need another goal scorer 100%.
We nearly went down through lack of goals last season and we have less proven strikers at this level than when we ended last season with.
Hope I am wrong but with no Kelman for a while, Dykes gone (not everyone's cup of tea but certainly improved our chances of staying up), Godden superb but spent 50% of time with us injured we are keeping our fingers crossed that Leaburn improves hugely and maybe Mbick can step up. This is not good enough and we will struggle for goals again if this isn't addressed. Mark my words !
Godden's injury is in the past. Its history. He is not injury prone like some players (ahem...Aneke)

To paraphrase the wording in the financial world.....

Past performance is no guide to the future

Does his girlfriend play for the women’s team and she got a number plate with his name on ?
  • That car could be great news…..

it belongs to Shaniqua Addickus Keohane, wife of Tony, and this surely means a new caterer will soon be at the ground.  Soon we’ll have the best burgers in town!!!

this club never ceases to amaze me

  • Nah, not a Jones player.....doesn't do enough work off the ball.
  • When he signed for Stoke a fan saw his personalised number plate in their car park so he definitely has a personalised plate

This is the only downside to a genuine ITK on here.

They either get you all pumped up, or pop a pin in your expectations 😂
  • It’s a borderline hairdressers motor / female footballer motor but I’m not convinced stjohnshill isn’t trying to dampen the flames here to get the deal done (puts tin hat on)

  • Well happy with him coming back

  • Brilliant

Yes i saw that pop up on my chrome, but didnt see the actual pic in question. Probably be on their forum somewhere.

  • Damage from when he was through on goal, attacking the Covered End I assume?
  • Today's surely not just going to be the Jones news (it is or course, brilliant but I was hoping for a bit more)
  • Stanley Mills signing for Preston in January apparently - Oxford not letting anyone go this window due to embargo.

A shame as I rate him a lot but I suppose it was him or TC, so we still benefit.
