    Oxford are under an embargo so trying to keep everyone they have because they can't register any new players.

    but on an embargo can't you like for like replace, just not further invest in your squad?

    What a bizarre move. Why would Mills agree to such a move anyway? If he wants to leave, then surely he'd want to go now, and if he was happy to stay, why wouldn't he wait until January to see what's available?

    Imagine Preston are bottom in January, and Oxford top of L1, he might then want to stay. Alternatively, a better Championship club might be interested.

    Oxford have given him Christmas off to spend time with his dad.

    Satpayev was great on loan for me on Football Manager.
