We’ve gone this route as my Spurs supporting brother in law is coming over from Belfast for it. He’s in his mid 70s and undergoing cancer treatment. He’s never been to the new stadium and we’d been saying we’d arrange to take him so this draw was a great incentive all round!Fortune 82nd Minute said:

Seems odd with just over a week to go (and a week since the draw). CAFC do seem to enjoy making us sweat on it. I know, I know, we have to wait for the tickets from the home team (in this case almost certainly digital ticketing as per all games).2

It wouldn’t surprise me if we are delaying it long enough in case the 5.7k sells out so quick that they can say it’s too late to get more tickets. Not selling more STs means they have to sell more matchday tickets (ie 7k+ against Derby on top of the 3k away fans allocation is taken into account) and similarl numbers, or potentially more for the games coming up….and that’s without anyone wanting to go the other forthcoming away matches as well.
catering for so many on Saturday was obviously a problem so selling tickets for two games a week may well be a nightmare atm.0 -
