    Was the non-pen a pen?
    Definitely no.

Probably a booking for Carey in fact.

I don't know if he's being eased in, but I'm surprised Bell has been starting ahead of Mesik at LB. Mesik will give us more of an attacking threat down the left, with the combination with the right footed winger ahead of him.
Not up to speed with english football is my guess.

Need the guile of Knibbs in the middle, and I don't think Bell will stay first choice left back for long based on that half

We look about as likely to score as me in south London night spots back in the day …. Zero fucking chance
plenty of possession but a lack of class in the final third
Still  chance to pull a fat bird before last knockings

Knibbs doesn’t have guile . Box crashing goal scoring ability , but not guile

TC looking a real threat, although the decision to shoot when he should have crossed was criminal
    A threat??  To whom??

If he had a left foot he would be dangerous. Not only that but his decision making is poor. He'll never make a top player as he just doesn't have it in him.

He needs extra training. Train him with only his left boot on and make him cross the ball.
Behave, he put in at least 2 dangerous crosses with his left foot in the time he switched flanks.

Quality goal from Derby once Lloyd lost the header, we had Bell and Billy there but it was a good finish.

TC going round the defender for fun on the left but he just can't deliver the final ball. Carey and Mac unmarked but he can't get it to them.
Godden need the ball on the deck.
Good corners from Sonny but our big men just could get on the ball by the 6 yard box. Started well but the whole team went missing and they goal was coming.
CAFC got back into the game but couldn't finish.

TC "no end product" is a cliche at this point. People genuinely expect him to put in a perfect cross every time he gets the ball.

Shall we entice Jason Lee out of retirement too ?

    Oh dear.

We now seem to be in the "every Charlton challenge is a foul" phase.

Some of the time would be good, nobody is expecting it 100% of the time.

Well that was a well worked corner...NOT!!
  • TC getting doubled up on after routinely easily beating his full back. A few good balls in. Not that you'd know it from looking on here or social media - too many have made decisions on his performance before he even steps on the pitch.

Derby player down in our box.

Don't know if he's injured or just fell asleep after our 45 seconds of keep ball at the back that came to nothing.

I think Carey and TC have the same problem, shoot or pass. Otherwise we are going forward more than last season and more exciting

Both are technically good players but at their best on instinct rather than time.

I'm baffled why Mannion is panicking there.

Well he's certainly done it some of the time in this game

Not surprising. Effing around with it at the back put him in trouble.

Grant has to lay that off to Godden.
