Can they charge two different prices for the same beer depending what stand you’re in?
Seems pretty wrong to me as does the ludicrous “you can’t just have chips” policy.Wankers deserve to make no money from catering.

Hopefully they take on board all the constructive criticism.
Because for a club in the 2nd tier it has to be better especially if they want to grow the clubs revenue.9 -

Our group all said it to the fella who walks around with the microphone, queen, abba, madness, the killers etc, bit of 80’s & 90’s, trouble is, the young lad is playing music for his tastes, not the audience.iainment said:

It's the sort of place where surely you play either no music at all or a bit of everything, mix it up a bit.
Mind you, I don't really see the attraction at all of standing in a queue in a fenced off bit of a car park paying through the nose for sub-standard food and drink. The shite music is just the turd on top of the cess pit.

The music in the fan zone is too loud! Probably makes me old but you want to be able to chat after spending £20 on a beer & a burger & there’s nowhere to sit - probably my last visit in there, it’s a nice idea but it’s poorly executed at the moment4

Whilst everyone wants good food…I think street food, and football food has gone too far one way in trying to be something it’s not and actually something no one really wants AKA cheap food, that tastes good and doesn’t take an ages to get.0 -

100 yards back in the other direction and you can pay half of that from the burger van at the end of Harvey Gardens. Not exactly rocket science is it!ME14addick said:

The club have sent out a survey this money asking about the matchday experience. This is the opportunity to make complaints and send in pictures if you have them4

It's also worth sending the club an email on Fans@cafc.co.uk. The Fan Advisers are aware of it though and shared disappointment too apparently, so hopefully they'll address it.
It's just a shame that they've not learned the lessons from last season as the exact same thing happened then3 -

The concourse was a health hazard due to the heat and lots of people, it was obvious to open gates for a bit more air flow, like majority of grounds do, easily policed with a few stewards and barriers.Other than that good start to the season 😁2 -

Sainsbury’s at the top of Floyd Road looked to be doing roaring trade. Hundreds of fans leaving with tinnies. Then I saw why. A pint sized can of Peroni is <£2 where a pint in the ground of terribly poured, dead Peroni is £8. Begs the question, why not just sell cans and bottles2

The worrying thing is that someone in our club has approved the menu options and now you can’t buy chips on their own!!!That’s just ridiculous.
People are writing on here that the club took on board all the criticism from last season but the facts are that they haven’t got better.

North lower. After a stupidly long queue I got to the counter 20 minutes before the game to be told no burgers. Was offered a hot dog so I had that, which consisted of a dry roll a cheap sausage. No onions or garnish of any sort. When I asked where the tomato sauce was the young woman pulled a face and said I don’t know, she asked two colleagues who also shrugged. I ate half of it and put it in the bin.Went to get water at half time but they had run out. Total shit show .

If travelling by train there is the possibility of a Greggs vegan sausage roll (sometimes other vegan/vegetarian choices) from London Bridge station, or in Powis street Woolwich or just outside Blackheath station. They have branches in Lewisham and at Dartford station and many others including near the Asda on the Charlton retail footprint.
It is possible to pick up a reasonably priced cold drink from the Sainsbury’s local and other convenience outlets. All those suggestions can be smuggled in.
I write this for those supporters like me for whom meat and fish make us gag, and also for those pensioners like me who need to watch the pennies.
I have never read from any source anything from any catering outlet anywhere on the Valley footprint about any research about what our supporters actually want.
I believe that might explain the overpriced doubtful stuff being sold as ‘food’ and drink.
Evening and mid day kick offs are one’s where people can look out for themselves.
Also a shout out for the marvellous Valley Cafe if you can get a seat. Two veggie sausages, grilled tomatoes, chips and a tea (plus a sit down) comes in at less than £10.8
